Our result is similar to that of the study on American kestrels, in which a small, marginally non-significant, effect of origin was found [21] .
In addition, relevant data from Finland indicated that, among the hypertensive or normotensive participants, 24-h daytime and night-time systolic or diastolic blood pressure were significantly higher among participants with hepatic steatosis than without (estimated by ultrasound), while this association at a non-dipping status was marginally non-significant [ 170 ].
The multivariable model results demonstrate a marginally non-significant association between educational attainment and trust in local government; given the weighted study population skewed towards lower educational attainment, further research is warranted to better understand the relationship between education and trust in government.
When considering the PHD scores a continuous variable, there was a marginally non-significant association between an increase in PHD scores (per 10 points) and lower heart age (β (95% CI): − 0.08 (− 0.18, 0.02) years).
The difference between study groups was marginally non-significant 30 days after the bleeding, partly due to a slight difference between the control and the mild TTC group and partly due to few data in the severe TTC group ( Fig 4B , S3 Table ).
Similarly, a subsequent SR and MA demonstrated marginally non-significant results [ 63 ] ( Table 1 and Table 2 ); however, a protective effect for GDM was feasible with dietary interventions in pregnancies that were complicated by obesity [ 63 ].
[ 91 ] In this meta-analysis which was performed on 10 studies, the correlation of moderate alcohol consumption and senile cataract were marginally non-significant.
No predictors of further ventricular arrhythmias, other than age below 16 years, could be identified, though the prognostic role of ICD was only marginally non-significant.
Income also declined more rapidly, although this was marginally non-significant.
The p -value (0.0544) was just above the typical threshold of 0.05, suggesting that the difference between the two groups was marginally non-significant.
However, this result contrasts with recent results showing that tyrannosaur juveniles outcompeted smaller theropods 109 , although we estimated marginally non-significant competition in North American carnivores (tyrannosaurs over dromaeosaurs; Supplementary Table 3 ).
Education showed a positive association with sleep health but was marginally non-significant ( = 0.281, ).
Results Older adolescents who perceived high levels of life satisfaction had a lower rate of clustering of multiple health-compromising behaviors compared to those reporting lower levels (RR: 1.22; 95%CI: 1.09–1.37), and the respective difference between those with high and those with middle levels of satisfaction was marginally non-significant (RR: 1.08; 95%CI: 0.98–1.19).
It is very close to 0.05, indicating a marginally non-significant difference in aggression between the two groups.
Within the overlap, 1128 genes were within 10 kb of these regions (Supplementary Table 4) and enriched in gene ontology (GO) terms for structural components of the cuticle (2.07e-14) and marginally non-significant for monooxygenase activity (6.37e-2).
While not statistically definitive, such marginally non-significant findings with moderate effect sizes warrant consideration in the context of digital health interventions targeting chronic conditions (Table 4 ).
Therefore, the marginally non-significant result in our model should not diminish the clinical importance of BMD assessment but rather be contextualized as a consequence of cohort homogeneity and the short-term nature of our outcome measure; muscle morphology may serve as a more sensitive discriminator of acute residual back pain within this already-osteoporotic population, complementing rather than replacing BMD in comprehensive patient evaluation.
The observed values for TW and PI were significantly greater than expected under neutral evolution for all populations (p-values<0.001), while TD was greater than expected for CHB only, although with a marginally non-significant statistical support ( p -value 0.056).
There was also a marginally non-significant tendency for females in better condition to produce fewer recruits (Table 3 ).

Except the t i m e × w e i g h t interaction effect, which is marginally non-significant at 5% level, all the fixed effects are highly significant.
Because this correction is conservative (18 comparisons with p<0.05 were considered non-significant with this method, but the false discovery rate for this study should be approximately 3–4 type I errors), we also discuss our marginally non-significant data in light of the power of each analysis.
A significant difference was observed when gp120-immunized females were compared to the combined control females ( Fig 1H ), whereas a marginally non-significant difference was seen when comparing gp140-immunized females versus the combined control females ( Fig 1I ).
When results were analyzed by groups defined by phenotype and not by genotype, a marginally non-significant result was revealed: there were only 9 DD homozygotes (26.5%) in the patients with an initial tremor-dominant form of PD (n=34) compared to 21 DD homozygotes (48.8%) in the bradykinesia-rigidity dominant form (n=43) (Fisher exact test p=0.061 and Pearson χ 2 test p=0.061).
