The latency time of diaspore discovery by ants did not differ among partially defleshed and intact fruits ( t test = 1.01, df = 19, p = 0.32, Fig 5A ) and the difference between the number of ant species attending to piles of partially defleshed and intact fruits was low and marginally non-significant ( t test = 2.04, df = 19, p < 0.055, Fig 5B ).
Further, SL was associated with a lower sural NCV (B=−7.0 [95% CI −13.0, −1.1], p =0.021). After including sural NCV in the multivariable regression model, the association of SL with lower FA remained robust (B=−0.05 [95% CI −0.093, −0.007], p =0.023), although that of MH with FA was marginally non-significant (B=−0.042 [95% CI −0.085, 0.001], p =0.055) (Table 4 ).
In contrast, no significant heterogeneity ( I 2 = 22.3%; Cochran Q -test: P = 0.174) was found for OS, and the improvement in OS was minimal and marginally non-significant (HR = 0.93, 95% CI = 0.87 to 1.00; P = 0.055), as compared with controls.
A mixed-model repeated measures ANOVA of the whole measure, combining the subscales of interest and enjoyment and value and usefulness, revealed a marginally non-significant effect of treatment ( p = 0.0552) with a significant effect of time ( p = 0.0004, η 2 = 0.163) and interaction ( p = 0.0006, η 2 = 0.152) ( Table 3 , Figure 1 ).
There were positive, albeit marginally non-significant relationships between difference in population size and predictive distance for path length (Fig. 2c ; Mantel test, rho = 0.481, p = 0.056) and clustering coefficient (Fig. 2d ; Mantel test, rho = 0.488, p = 0.060).
In the full model, salinity showed a significant positive effect (p < 0.001), whereas temperature exhibited a marginally non-significant positive effect (p = 0.056).
“Adherence to ethical standards” had a marginally non-significant difference ( p = 0.056), with mean ranks showing that manufacturers tended to rank it as more important than experts.

The marginally non-significant trend for PINK1 ( p = 0.056)—the largest observed between-class difference (1.11 kcal/mol), with upstream SMO-targeting compounds showing somewhat stronger PINK1 engagement than downstream modulators—may reflect the structural features of SMO-binding scaffolds (morpholine rings, purine cores, aromatic amides) that are geometrically compatible with the PINK1 ATP-binding pocket, though this interpretation requires experimental biochemical confirmation.
Although marginally non-significant, households using rainwater source for drinking had increased risk of STH infection aOR = 3.14 (95%CI: 0.97–10.17); p = 0.056.
clavigera treatment; however, these results were found to be marginally non-significant ( p = 0.056) compared to other treatments.
For the 10–16 kHz DPOAE, the comparison with the pre-treatment group showed a marginally non-significant difference after the first cisplatin treatment ( p ≤ 0.056), whereas a significant reduction was observed after the second treatment ( p ≤ 0.02; Bonferroni-corrected).
Homogeneity tests showed similar phylogenetic signals for each major data partition, although the two nuclear genes did exhibit marginally non-significant heterogeneity (ILD test, P = 0.056).

Although the patients with pleural effusion had lower LSR, the difference was marginally non-significant (1.66 vs. 1.39, p = 0.056).
In the 0–90 day window, however, additional adjustment for age slightly strengthened the association and improved statistical significance (OR=1.056, 95% CI 1.008 to 1.108, p=0.023), compared with the marginally non-significant estimate without age adjustment (OR=1.046, 95% CI 0.999 to 1.095, p=0.056) ( online supplemental table S5 ).
Multivariate models also provided some evidence for a positive genetic correlation between IGEs on aggression and DGEs expressed in the non-social trait of exploration, although the estimated was marginally non-significant (r G = 0.59, SE 0.28, P = 0.056) (Table 2 ).
The interaction between outcome density condition and the presence of the cue was marginally non-significant, F = 3.77, p = .056, η p 2 = .05, BF inc = 1.11.
A General Linear Model with (1) mean heart rate as a continuous predictor, (2) snout-vent length and body mass at birth as dependent variables, and (3) embryo positioning and clutch of origin as categorical predictors yielded a marginally non-significant effect of embryo positioning F 2, 38 = 3.11; P = 0.056—see Fig. 5 ).
Just as before, the ASC group showed significant reduction in the volume of the right arcuate as compared with controls [ t (18) = 16.669, p < 0.001], though their reduction in the volume of the left arcuate became marginally non-significant [ t (18) = 2.041, p = 0.056] ( Figure 4C ).
