In the multivariate analysis, we observed that podoplanin score (with combination of extent and intensity) presented an independent association on the risk of transformation to oral cancer ( p = 0.017; HR of 10.148, 95% CI of 1.503–68.532), while binary dysplasia grade reached marginal significance ( p = 0.054; HR of 9.316, 95% CI of 0.965–89.951).

For PFS, perioperative chemotherapy had a marginal significance, with a HR of 0.56 (P=0.054) but was an independent factor in relation to sex and the clinical stage.

For females, only item-3 (trouble falling or staying asleep, or sleeping too much) and item-9 (thoughts that you would be better off dead, or of hurting yourself) showed marginal significance ( β = −0.059; p = 0.054) and ( β = −0.053; p = 0.04), respectively.

Further sLORETA brain source estimations performed at different moment in time showed marginal significance ( t = 1.221, p = 0.054) between prime type (stranger vs. friend) in Brodmann area 6 between 570–580 ms, and significant differences ( t = 1.588, p = 0.047) in Brodmann area 40 between 740–750 ms ( t = 1.588, p = 0.047).

Participants who performed task set A (mean, 9.17, SD, 4.93) performed worse than those who performed set B (mean, 11.64, SD, 5.37), but this result only just reached marginal significance ( t = −2.03, p = 0.054)( Table 2 ).

The D-FoF group showed significantly higher percentages of participants who have hypertension and arthritis, take five or more medications and had a fall in the previous year (with marginal significance, p < 0.054), slower gait speed under fast conditions (with marginal significance, p < 0.088), and longer TUG time (with marginal significance, p < 0.071) than those in the N-FoF group.

However, we noticed that the MDA concentrations were lower in PCOS patients with the dominant genotype of VDR-TaqI than in PCOS patients carrying the TT genotype, but the observed difference had marginal significance ( p = 0.054).
