S4 , among 7 participants, 6 (with marginal significance in Participant S6) showed a significant negative correlation of bias index with perceptual learning sessions, indicating that the task-related selective attention bias towards the fellow eye progressively reduced with perceptual learning.
Although this interaction should be interpreted with caution given the marginal significance and the very small number of participants in this group (those with the highest levels of depression who received the VB), this pattern was also apparent in our analyses with the proportion of intervention completed as an outcome (the number of pages viewed as a proportion of the total possible number of pages; Multimedia Appendix 1 ).
Across the three doses, no consistent pattern was observed in adjusted RR based on individual characteristics. Participants with previous moderate or severe systemic adverse reactions following the second and third doses had a higher adjusted RR for moderate or severe systemic reactions with at least a marginal significance (1.31 [0.99–1.72] for the second dose, 2.18 [1.56–3.06] for the third dose).
After adjustment for age, ferritin, serum albumin, Kt/V and hs-CRP, age (β = 0.099; P < 0.001), serum albumin level (β = 0.409; P < 0.001) and Kt/V value (β = 0.209; P < 0.005) were independent predictors of higher Hb levels, while a higher serum hs-CRP level (β = -0.053; P = 0.056), with marginal significance, was an independent predictor of a lower Hb level on multiple regression analysis.
