“just fails to reach significance”

The same analysis with 1–3 score system just fails to reach significance ( p = 0.056) probably for the limited number of patients in the study and the nonparametric test used for the analysis. 3.2.3.

If one excludes the data from the subjects tested on electrode 2 of the MedEl device, which yielded anomalous results for subjects ME5 and perhaps ME2, then the effect size is indeed numerically larger for the upper limit, but the difference just fails to reach significance ( t (8) = 1.70, p = 0.06).

One-hemifield configuration In this configuration, the performance advantage of validly cued trials over invalidly cued trials is significant for detection rates (F(1,7) = 11.53, p = 0.008, figure 3B ), but just fails to reach significance for reaction times (F(1, 6) = 5.27, p = 0.0614, table 1B ).

10 The finding of four individuals in the case group with deletions and none in the control group just fails to reach significance in our independent sample ( P = 0.074) but can be regarded as supportive independent confirmation.

Response Time analysis shows that high-PRVS participants respond more quickly, though this effect just fails to reach significance [low-PRVS = 691.5, high-PRVS = 620.3, F (1, 26) = 3.390, p = 0.077, η 2 p = 0.115].

This treatment difference just fails to reach significance at the 10% level ( p = 0.1023, Boschloo test with one-sided alternative hypothesis) though we do also find a (weakly) significant effect of choice experience in the individual-level analysis below (see analysis of Table 2 ).

Thus, support for the mainstream right is significantly higher among upper middle class identifiers compared to lower/working class identifiers across the board just as we see the reverse pattern for left socialist parties (although the difference just fails to reach significance for the un‐ and education‐primed measures).

This result is limited by the fact that this indirect effect just fails to reach significance in a model which controls for a number of additional potential confounders, which might, however, also be due to power issues.

The interaction with L1 French just fails to reach significance and is likely contingent on the lack of difference between L1 French and native German speakers.
