Consistent with the literature [ 46 , 58 – 60 ], the NBO regimen applied here did however result in significant increases in ischemic cortex P t O 2 across the two strains (i.e., pooled data)—although within strain these increases did not quite reach statistical significance, probably due to small samples and variable changes.
While the levels of the mtDNA-encoded subunit, Cox2, was significantly decreased in psd1 Δ psd2 Δ and OM-Psd1 strains, the steady state abundance of the two additional mtDNA-encoded subunits, Cox1 and Cox3, trended towards a decrease in psd1 Δ, psd1 Δ psd2 Δ and OM-Psd1 that did not quite reach statistical significance (Supplementary Fig. 4 ).
In addition, problem alcohol use appeared to be associated with willingness to use HIV PrEP but did not quite reach statistical significance (aOR, 1.9; 95% CI, 1.0–3.5), whereas Asian ethnicity (aOR = 2.1 compared to White participants; 95%CI = 1.1,4.2) was significantly associated with willingness to use HIV PEP.
The telephone interview patients (non-responders) who had more than one level injected still had higher NRS scores at 20-30 min compared to those patients having only one level injected (p = 0.053), but this did not quite reach statistical significance.
Cardiac growth and gene expression The transient growth restriction was also reflected in a tendency ( P = 0.07) for the heart weights of the DEX fetuses to be lower at E14.5; this did not quite reach statistical significance probably due to the inaccuracies in weighing hearts of such small size.
