The percentage of Fluoro-Gold–labeled knee afferents expressing CLR showed a tendency to increase following MIA treatment, although this increase did not quite reach significance (66.40 ± 7.92% versus 58.98 ± 4.23% in following saline treatment; P = 0.091 by unpaired t -test).
As with unilateral AION, the rod-weighted logI 50 for both affected eyes was higher compared to control eyes but the difference did not quite reach significance (median logI 50 for better eyes = −2.40 log cd/m2, for worse eyes = −2.31 log cd/m2 compared to −2.60 log cd/m2 for control eyes, p = 0.10).
Since everolimus inhibited tumour growth, there was of course a reduction in the total and viable area and consequently a reduction in the total cell number examined by IHC comparing everolimus-treated to vehicle-treated mice (Table 1 , Figure 3 ), although these did not quite reach significance (p = 0.1).
Further, in Vietnam it was children in mother-migrant/father-caregiver households who were less likely than those living with both parents to experience an emotional disorder ( e β = 0.52; β = −.65), whereas in Indonesia the association was in the opposite direction, although the results did not quite reach significance ( p > .10).
Our data support these observations, with leg MusD predicting grip strength (as well as fast gait speed and self‐reported physical function), but we did not quite reach significance for usual gait speed ( p = 0.10) or the number of sit‐to‐stand manoeuvres completed in 30 s ( p = 0.09).
Although overall the validities were slightly higher in undergraduate assessments (mean = .485; CI: .406 to .557) than in postgraduate assessments (mean = .386; CI: .282 to .481), that effect did not quite reach significance either on its own ( P = .104) or after taking A-levels into account ( P = .116).
The separate analysis, by group, indicated significant leg difference in the two fatigue indexes in the groups with unilateral and with bilateral leg involvement ( P = 0.04, P < 0.0001, respectively), except that in the group with unilateral involvement (n = 19), the comparison between legs for the normalized fatigue index did not quite reach significance ( P = 0.12).
Hip bone strength gains at 6 months in the two groups randomized to higher protein were similar as expected ( p = 0.46), but the 6-mo HiProt vs RecProt group differences did not quite reach significance ( p = 0.14), possibly due to higher variability that limited statistical power.
TNF-alpha expression was positively correlated with airway bacterial burden (r = 0.41, p<0.01, q<0.05) and negatively correlated with phylogenetic diversity (r = −0.29, p<0.05, q<0.05), though the relationship with community richness did not quite reach significance (r = −0.19, p = 0.18, q = 0.09; Figure 2 ).
