“convincingly significant”

The single Rolnik [2017] study demonstrated a convincingly significant risk reduction of 62% (RR = 0.38; 95% CI: 0.20–0.72; p = 0.011) for aspirin compared to placebo ( Fig 4 ).

Our weaker sex ratio QTL on chromosome 3 is close to genome-wide significance, but the QTL suggested for chromosome 5 are only convincingly significant at the chromosome-wide threshold level.

Our present results have shown a convincingly significant dose-dependent therapeutic effect of DXM administered immediately at the onset of heat stroke.

In our view, these reconfiguration proposals are sufficiently simple, but their economic benefits are convincingly significant.

It seems clear that, in a Western population, any P –value less than say 5 × 10 −8 can be regarded as convincingly significant.

An inverse association between 25-OH-cholecalciferol levels and risk of acute respiratory failure in critically ill patients has been observed, being most convincingly significant for subjects with 25-OH-cholecalciferol <25 nmol//L [ 92 ].

They did not exhibit any convincingly significant correlation in their expression patterns.

However, it is important to note that N-methyl pipecolate and hydroxy-CMPF*, despite having adjusted p -values (approximately 1.44 × 10 −2 and 2.80 × 10 −2 , respectively) that indicate statistical significance, were not as convincingly significant as the other mentioned metabolites.

Visual inspection of this locus in aCGH plots did not reveal convincingly significant variations.

In instances where variables were involved in univariate and multivariate statistics, only those which showed a level of significance of ≤ 0.05 in both analyses were deemed convincingly significant.

Although our results are convincingly significant, further studies consisting in a more homogenous population would be desirable.
