4J ), Scn2a +/+ and Scn2a +/− adult mice did not show any significant differences in the time spent immobile, although a tendency to decreased immobility time was observed for Scn2a +/− mice at the end of the 6-min session (two-way repeated measures ANOVA main, F(1, 26) = 3.15, p = 0.0875 for genotype (borderline significance); F(2, 52) = 5.06, p = 0.0098 for time; F(2, 52) = 0.72, p = 0.4892 for the interaction).
Thus, to summarize, the most robust results overall were for mQTL associated with SCDA metabolite levels (factor 3) including an mQTL composed of USP3 (rs10450989) and HERC1 (rs2228513); and a locus composed of STON2 (rs12589750) and SEL1L (rs3853422), with loci meeting genomewide significance in the discovery cohort (p≤10 −6 ), strong significance in the validation cohort (p = 2.4x10 -3 –7.7x10 -7 , except rs3853422 which only showed borderline significance [p = 0.01]), and stronger association in the meta-analyses (p = 1.6x10 -6 –7.2x10 -12 ).
When comparing subgroups, the criterion no thin halo reached only borderline significance to predict PTC after Bonferroni correction for multiple comparisons ( p = 0.01).
However, changes in total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol attained borderline significance between groups when compared by change in diet in the abstinence group (see online supplementary table 1 ; p=0.01 and p=0.02, respectively).
In the multivariate model, the risk score retained significance as an independent prognostic factor (HR = 2.76, P = 0.0012), while the pTNM stage showed only borderline significance (HR = 1.60, P = 0.01) ( Figs. 5A , 5B ).

Welch’s t-tests showed borderline significance in Amplitude mean with board addition (C1 vs. + B: t = –2.5, df = 16.4, p = 0.01) and a significant difference with board removal (C2 vs. –B: t = –3.9, df = 24.6 p = 0.0005).
As shown in Figure 2 a, the absolute Fat-LA volume measured and the overall ROI volume traced were significantly and directly correlated, with r = 0.531 (95% CI 0.404 to 0.638), p < 0.0001, while the Fat-LA density was instead only mildly correlated with the ROI volume drawn, with r = 0.208 (95% CI 0.047 to 0.358) and a borderline significance of p = 0.01 (not shown).
We found that the 6 signature genes are significantly upregulated in all these conditions with a p-value cutoff of 0.01, except MPP6 in the condition of CDC25A amplification, which showed borderline significance (p= 0.0112) (see Supplementary Fig. 4 ).
Results: A significantly high frequency of T allele and a borderline significance in the frequency of TT genotype of FOXE3 -p.Ala170Ala was observed in microphthalmia cases, as compared to controls [T allele: OR: [CI] = 1.8 [1.15-2.72], P = 0.0115; TT: OR [CI] = 2.9 [1.14-7.16], P = 0.0291).
Borderline significance was observed in the dominant and recessive models for rs767649 polymorphism ( P =0.012 and P =0.010, respectively) ( Table 2 ).
The ST model indicated that friends using ST (OR = 20.12, P < 0.001) and employment status (OR = 3.37, P = 0.004), with economic status exhibiting borderline significance ( P = 0.012), were significant predictors.
There was borderline significance in Overall Patient Care ( p = 0.012).
Complementing this finding, we observed borderline significance for PD risk mediated by HLA-DRB1*01:01 ( P = 0.012; OR, 1.26; 95% CI, 1.05–1.50).
Air pollution showed limited associations with tinnitus severity, with non-upsetting tinnitus demonstrating borderline significance in crude model (OR = 1.02, 95% CI: 1.01-1.04; P = .012) that attenuated in adjusted models, while no associations were observed for upsetting tinnitus across all models.

Limitations and future directions While comparison with publicly available databases strengthens our conclusions, we acknowledge that the borderline significance observed for the Ki-67 associations (p = 0.013, p = 0.004, p = 0.015, and p = 0.011) warrants cautious interpretation.
Histological grade was an independent prognostic factor for DFS and N stage had borderline significance (HR=0.376, P=0.014; HR=4.432, P=0.051, respectively; Table III ).
ChPV mediated the relationship from CSF inflammatory markers to CSF Ab42 with significance or borderline significance (proportion mediated, 28.1%, 19.3% and 11.3%; P=0.014, 0.009 and 0.077 for C3, FH and TNFR1, respectively).
Through the GLM analysis, the rs12097901 genotype showed a significant association with SpO 2 latency ( P = 0.006) in the additive model, whereas the rs2790859 genotype was related to the latency with borderline significance ( P = 0.014) (Table 2 and Fig. 2 ).
For ER prediction, lesion count showed borderline significance as a covariate ( p = 0.014), suggesting a partial independent association consistent with the known tendency for ER-positive tumors to exhibit higher metastatic burden.
Notably, while the following mutants exhibited a significant decrease (P<0.05) in crossover frequency when compared to wild type for the a–d interval on chromosome V: mus-81; xpf-1 (P = 0.0041), slx-1;xpf-1 (P = 0.0133), mus-81 slx-1; xpf-1 (P = 0.0870, borderline significance likely due to the low N-value), and mus-81;xpf-1;gen-1 (P = 0.0142) ( Table S2 ), we no longer observed this significance after Sidak correction for multiple comparisons ( Figure 3D and Table S3 ).
The toxicity measurement of CoSiNPs resulted in a modest decline to 63.33% ( p = 0.058) but maintained borderline significance, while trimetallic SiNPs exhibited a substantial decrease, leading to 31.67% apical points ( p = 0.015).
