The higher risk of irTAEs for females is likely to be due to a preponderance of autoimmune diseases in females compared to males [ 15 ] and the borderline significance of younger age as an independent risk factor for irTAE in unknown, but it has been suggested that it could at least partly be explained by relationship between thyroid diseases and younger women [ 15 ].
The transgenic T1 kernels from four (OmtA-6, 7, 10, and 12) out of the five events exhibited lower mean aflatoxin production than those without the omtA transgene, although the difference is not statistically significant except for OmtA-7 and OmtA-12, which were at borderline significance with p -values ranging from 0.056 to 0.063 ( Table S1 ).
Similar to the results of shoulder function, there were no statistically significant differences between the treatment groups in QoL at 1 year after surgery (both ITT and PP analysis), although borderline significance was observed at 6 weeks in EQ-5D index scores and 6 weeks and 12 months in EQ-5D VAS scores (PP analysis).
Predictors of increase in bone turnover markers At univariate analysis we found significant associations of greater OPG Δ [wk 48-bl] with higher CD4+/CD8+ T-cell ratio (r 2 = 0.06, p = 0.03), and with greater eGFR estimated by CKD-EPI based on cystatin C values at baseline (r 2 = 0.06, p = 0.03), but only the latter maintained a borderline significance at multivariable model (Table 2 ), indicating that there was a greater increase in OPG (mean: 0.21 ng/mL) in patients with better renal function at baseline.
