Importantly, both METS-IR and TyG-BMI were predictors of all-cause mortality in univariate analysis, but with borderline significance; however, only age, BMI and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) remained independent predictors in the multivariable model [OR = 1.08 (95% CI: 1.05–1.1, P < 0.01) for age; OR = 0.8 (95% CI: 0.73–0.95, P < 0.01) for BMI; OR = 0.98 (95% CI: 0.97–1, P < 0.01) for eGFR].
Since our analysis was hypothesis driven we think this is not necessary, but nevertheless, taking multiple comparisons into account by increasing the confidence level to 99 % did not change the results substantially, with significant results for duration and type of preparation, and with borderline significance for age-group analysis.
Animal-specific Iba1+ pixel-cluster density significantly increased in EG eyes within the lamina of 1 out of the 4 NHPs, increased in the RL1 region (with borderline significance) in 2 of the 4 NHPs, and significantly increased in the RL2 region of 1 of the 2 NHPs that had RL2 tissue regions in the IHC sections (see Table 2 , Supplementary Table S1 ).
13 All studies which considered disease activity as the main outcome (11 articles) found positive results, with more than 50% reduction in disease activity in most reports and a decrease in corticosteroid needs in three studies; 13 however, the risk of severe SLE flare was reduced only with borderline significance. 13 Also, the HCQ benefits as adjuvant therapy for LN was also confirmed. 13 The potential benefits upon accrual damage and survival were reported in a limited number of studies. 13 This systematic review was continued by another one using a similar methodology for the 2007–2012 period. 3 The authors reported further evidence thrombosis prevention, increased survival, control of disease activity, lipid profile improvement, and prevention of damage accrual 3 (see Supplemental Table 4 ).
Although no barrier factor had a significant negative correlation with ART contribution to total treatment, the borderline significance for cost-sharing and management support indicated their great potential for affecting the practice of ART, and that these barrier factors were not adequately addressed during the process evaluation.
