Adjustment for diabetes status did, however, attenuate the association between each 1,000 mg/day greater dietary sodium and incident HF to borderline significance (HR: 1.03; 95% CI: 1.00-1.11).

In addition, the reduced vessel density in the inferonasal and superotemporal sectors of the HTG group showed borderline significance.

Accordingly, readers should interpret individual associations—particularly those involving genes with borderline significance or smaller effect sizes—with appropriate caution.

The confidence interval was near the null value, implying borderline significance ( Table 5 ).

With regard to long bones, the expression of GLUT-1 (% of stained cells and IRS score) was, associated with an increased risk of death HR = 1.16 (95% CI: 0.98–1.38) and HR = 1.14 (95% CI: 1.00–1.29) with borderline significance (0.08 and 0.06, respectively).

This effect showed borderline significance when ART use was included in the model.

Moreover, patients treated by STR may also benefit from PORT, as the calculated HR was 0.621 (95% CI, 0.368–1.050; P =0.075) for OS, indicating borderline significance.

In comparison to the saline vehicle control, there was no significant difference with FA-FD (Dunnett’s multiple comparisons test, p ≥ 0.052) with FA showing the borderline significance.

Correlation between platelet count and PLR (p=0.047; p=0.05) showed borderline significance.

Cg05784862( KSR1 ) (HR = 0.014 95% CI 0.000–1.297, P = 0.065) and cg06288355( RAG1 ) (HR = 62.037 95% CI 0.934–4122.5, P = 0.054) had borderline significance for overall survival after adjustment mainly because of extremely low number of deaths.

However, this borderline significance was lost in subgroup analyses based on age groups ( Table 5 ).
