On the other hand, an almost significant reduction in heart failure relapses managed not in a hospital setting was observed and defined as the presence of signs and symptoms of heart failure treated with the implementation of diuretic therapy maintained for at least 28 days: the sacubitril/valsartan group presented 39 events (1.4%) vs. 57 (2.0%) of the ramipril group [HR 0.68 (0.45–1.03), P = 0.07].
However, whilst all loci that met genome-wide significance using the simple meta-analytic strategy were also significant or almost significant using DINGO (i.e. all loci would be flagged by researchers as significant or suggestive), many genome-wide significant loci that displayed directionally discordant effects in the two-degree-of-freedom DINGO test exhibited p -values that were far less extreme using the simple meta-analytic strategy, including some loci that may have been missed entirely (e.g. the GLIS3 locus discussed below).
Recently, the ANDROMEDA-SHOCK trial found that patients in the CRT group had an almost significant reduction in 28-day mortality and lower SOFA scores at 72 h [ 11 ], thus the doors to a novel approach to sepsis tailored on the use of CRT, which is currently under investigation with the multicenter randomized ANDROMEDA-SHOCK 2 trial (registered on www.clinicaltrial.gov NCT05057611 ) [ 12 ].
Discussion In this prospective cohort of community-dwelling participants older than 72 years of age, the decline over time in the TMTB (executive functions) and IST (verbal fluency) was significantly slower in participants who reported moderate or high level of household/transportation-related PA, whereas the TMTA (psychomotor speed) performance change was almost significant.
Exploratory results on the almost significant three-way interaction of choice × emotional content × feedback showed that this pattern resulted from negative feedback trials such that significant differences between neutral and negative trials were not found for self choices t (16) = −1.815, p = .088, d = −.555, but were found for denied choices t (16) = 3.201, p = .006, d = .720 (see Figure 5).
There is a significant quadratic effect for the δ 15 N of Equus (age 2 : β = 0.09, SE = 0.034, 95% CI [0.02:0.16], Table S7 ) and almost significant effect for Rangifer (age 2 : β = 0.04, SE = 0.021, 95% CI [0.00:0.08], Table S8 ) in the intermediate levels of the site with the lowest overall δ 15 N exhibited in horses in US04 lower, corresponding with the Heinrich 4 event at the site.
