In full-heritage Pima subjects <18 years of age who had at least one non-diabetic exam and who then subsequently developed T2DM (Model 1), there was a weak trend that men, not women, with T allele were heavier, and genotype*gender interaction was borderline significant; however no significant gender interaction was observed in all full-heritage Pimas for all recorded BMI exams (Model 2) ( Table S1 ).
A weak trend also shows thinner cartilage in the dorsal ulnar (0.41 ± 0.12 mm) region of the trapezium in advanced-stage OA TMC joints compared to the younger (0.66 ± 0.09 mm, P = 0.088) and elder (0.66 ± 0.08 mm, P = 0.086) healthy/early-stage OA TMC joints, as well as in the volar radial (0.47 ± 0.05 mm) region of the trapezium in advanced-stage OA specimens when compared to the elder healthy/early-stage OA group (0.86 ± 0.08 mm, P = 0.083) (Fig. 3 ).
We found a weak trend of improvement in daytime somnolence after 3 months of treatment, with stronger results after 12 months (median Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) score from 6.0 to 4.0, p = 0.015); a significant improvement in subjective sleep quality (median Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) total score from 7 to 5; p = 0.001) was also observed.
A statistically significant difference was found only for the duration of the sensors placed on the Fridge Door and the Food Cabinet in Task 3 – Snack Preparation, while a weak trend was observed for the Fridge Door sensor in Task 1 – Meal Preparation ( Table 5 ).
We also found a weak trend for wing‐clipped females to lay eggs with higher yolk levels of lipid oxidative damage (MDA) that did not reach the statistical significance threshold ( χ 2 = 3.119, p = 0.077, Figure 2b ). 4 Discussion In this study, we showed that the experimental reduction of the body condition of spotless starling females before reproduction (D'Arpa et al. 2022 ) affected the size, weight, and composition of the eggs they laid.
