Nevertheless, a trend towards significance was found for association of IP-10 and OPN amount with both DMFS (IP-10, HR: 1.97, 95% Confident Interval (CI): 0.86–4.55, p = 0.1104; OPN, HR: 2.67, 95% CI: 0.98–7.25, p = 0.0537) and OS (IP-10, HR: 2.15, 95% CI: 0.86–5.34, p = 0.1006; OPN, HR: 2.95, 95% CI: 1.06–8.22, p = 0.0381). 3.2.
In control lung, correlation analysis showed a trend towards significance between increasing age and shortening of lung telomere length (n = 18, r = -0.4, p = 0.115; S2 Fig ).
The interaction between group of participants and effects showed a trend toward significance ( F (2,66) = 2.357, P = 0.116, Greenhouse-Geisser correction) and a plot of this 2-way interaction showed a reduced CE and an incremental AE and OE effect for the touch group (see Figure 2 ); pairwise, post hoc comparisons revealed a trend towards significance when considering CE differences between groups (mean difference, Touch − Mouse = −37.280; P = 0.170) in terms of a reduced CE for the touch, while the two groups differed to a lesser degree for the OE (Mean Difference, Touch − Mouse = 18,218; P = 0.232) and AE (Mean Difference, Touch − Mouse = 16,418; P = 0.261). 5.2.
