Interestingly, even though no association existed between overall survival and SBEM expression ( Figure 4A ), a trend toward significance was observed for those breast cancers that exhibited high levels of SBEM positivity and a shorter time to disease progression, compared with those that were SBEM− [low levels, P = 0.057, n = 300, hazard ratio (HR) 0.65, 95% CI of ratio 0.37, 1.04; Figure 4B ].
No significant difference was found between the discharge from IPCU, previous to and posterior to the ERAS protocol implementation.[ 7 , 13 ] However, in our series, we identified a significant association between admission modified Rankin score, postoperative vasospasm, and stay in the IPCU, suggesting that patients with greater baseline disability may be at increased risk of developing this complication.[ 15 , 17 ] A trend toward significance was also observed for the discharge Rankin score.
Our results did not reach a significant condition × time interaction for either mean propulsive velocity (MPV) or maximum velocity (Vmax); however, a trend toward significance was observed for MPV when the participants were stratified by strength level, as indicated by a 20.41% increase in MPV without affecting Vmax.
A p-value <0.05 was considered statistically significant, and p-values between 0.05 and 0.10 were interpreted as indicating a trend toward significance. 3 Results 3.1 Search results We systematically searched four databases and the initial search yielded 22,129 publications.
Prognostic Factors for Overall Survival In the univariate Cox model for 5-year overall survival ( Table 5 ), the Sarculator OS score (HR 0.97, 95% CI 0.95–0.99, p < 0.001) and P-POSSUM mortality score (HR 1.15, 95% CI 1.08–1.23, p < 0.001) were significant predictors, while complications (HR 2.53, p = 0.08) showed a trend toward significance.
