Among included treatments, first generation TKI (gefitinib) plus chemotherapy ranked first in improving overall survival (P score=0.91) and showed a trend toward significance (HR=0.72, 95%CI 0.40-1.27) ( Figure 2C ) ( Supplement C , Figure S4 ).

We also observed a trend toward significance in the difference in number of levels receiving instrumentation between the patients who experienced postoperative neurologic deficit and those who did not.

There was significant shock reversal at 7 days, and 28-day mortality showed a trend toward significance (63% versus 32%).

Using Spearman’s rank correlation analysis, IL-8/CXCL8 levels showed a significant positive correlation with fibrinogen (r = 0.403, p = 0.011), while correlations with ESR (r = 0.397, p = 0.055) and CRP (r = 0.288, p = 0.052) did not reach statistical significance, even if a trend toward significance was observed (see Table 3 ).

There is also a significant difference between target cue and control cue potentials in the second half of the session (568–772 ms, one-tailed comparison cluster p = 0.047), confirming that the learning effect was larger for target cues than for control cues (even though the regression effect above showed only a trend toward significance).

In contrast, our analyses failed to reveal higher cumulative percentages of deficits for the mild subgroup than for the normative population, despite a trend toward significance (nonsignificant after FDR correction) for attention.

However, there was a trend toward significance, which could be partly due to the smaller sample size and the variations in methodology, as quoted in the literature [ 21 ].

The proportion of patients using carbamazepine was higher in the low serum zinc group (4/8 patients, 50.0%) than in the normal zinc group (3/23 patients, 13.4%) (p = 0.0528), indicating a trend toward significance.

However, we did not find statistically significant differences ( p > 0.05) when analyzing TMT among patients considered sarcopenic using the SARC-F, SPPB, and TUG questionnaires; rather, we found a trend toward significance, correlation, and the mean ( Table 2 ).

While the study did not find a significant reduction in anxiety scores for this group, it did note a trend toward significance for reductions in irritability scores.

Cardiac cause of admission had a trend toward significance with two-sided P value and was significant when considered one-sided ( P = 0.045).

P < 0.05 was considered to indicate statistical significance, while 0.05 < P < 0.1 was considered to indicate a trend toward significance.

However, there was a trend toward significance in headache frequency reduction during the first month, with the proximal group showing a median reduction of 11.0 attacks compared to 7.0 attacks for the distal group (p = 0.055) ( Table 3 , Figure 2 ) In terms of VAS score reductions, delta analysis ( Table 3 ) showed that the 3rd month change favored the Distal group (r = 0.325, p = 0.011), demonstrating a medium effect size.

On the other hand, Gradia HIPS used in ICVs contains Urethane Dimethacrylate (UDMA) and higher filler content, which results in a denser network less prone to staining.[ 15 ] The complete absence of discoloration in CLVs, likely due to the dense crystalline structure of lithium disilicate and a glazed surface, is consistent with previous studies showing that ceramic veneers outperform composites in long-term esthetics.[ 16 , 17 ] Postoperative sensitivity was infrequent but exclusively occurred in the DCV group (three cases total), showing a trend toward significance.

There was a trend toward significance in defining maximal incisal opening (MIO) on the written test in the module group.

The present study demonstrates that there was a trend toward significance for WM MD changes and the mTBI patients with PSTD at the subacute phase after injury, which is in agreement with a previous DTI study.[ 21 ] It is likely that only MD, among these affected fiber tracts’ abnormalities, in the subacute phase may help to identify mTBI patients with an increased risk of PTSD.

P values ≤0.05 were considered significant, and P values ≤0.10 were considered a trend toward significance.

Time‐varying depressive symptoms were significantly associated with CVD death (adjusted hazard ratio 1.30, 95% CI 1.04–1.63), with a trend toward significance for fatal and nonfatal stroke (adjusted hazard ratio 1.26, 95% CI 0.99–1.60) but not fatal and nonfatal coronary heart disease (adjusted hazard ratio 1.11, 95% CI 0.89–1.38).
