However, it cannot be excluded that the observed sex-specific associations may result from a small group of the studied men, especially as in the recessive model, a strong tendency towards statistical significance was observed in men ( p = 0.052).
Coexistence and Associated Daily Activity Rhythms There was a strong tendency towards statistical significance in the daily activity pattern in red serows when they were on their own and when with Chinese serows ( p = 0.052) ( Table 6 ) with lower overlap in activity pattern (mean Δ 1 = 0.599; CI: 0.427–0.822) ( Figure 6 A).
An unexpected finding of this study was that none of the patients in the screw group experienced end-of-stem pain, whereas five knees in the non-screw group reported mild tibial end-of-stem pain; the incidence of end-of-stem pain in the screw group was less than that in the non-screw group, with a strong tendency towards statistical significance (0/55 vs. 5/51, P = 0.0548).
In addition, patients who died had a significantly lower incidence of angiographic success, a higher rSS and more multivessel disease (Table 2 ). CA125 when evaluated as a continuous variable showed a strong tendency towards statistical significance for mortality (9.2 [6.4–14.5] vs. 8.0 [5.5–11.2], p = 0.056).
In our analysis there was a strong tendency towards statistical significance for increased bone density in the metastases with concomitant bisphosphonate treatment 3 months following RT (p = .069) and after 6 months the mean increase in mean bone density was still larger in patients receiving combination treatment compared to those without bisphosphonates (245.8 HU ± SD 151.5 vs. 171.9 HU ± SD 114.4).
The analysis, although indirectly—as it was based on the type of procedure—showed a strong tendency towards statistical significance and a substantial effect size, indicating that over 20% of the variability in microbial composition could be explained by the factor studied.
