The comparison of the RFS between the group treated with ablation therapy during conversion therapy and the liver resection group showed a slight trend toward a longer RFS in the liver resection group, but the difference was not significant (ablation group, 274 days [157–NA]; hepatectomy group, NA days [447–NA]; p = 0.09; Figure S3b ).
In the group of RRMS patients that switched to fingolimod or alemtuzumab there was a slight trend that those with higher baseline CSF GAP-43 concentration more often achieved clinical disability improvement (CDI; EDSS improvement of ≥1 point for those with an EDSS of ≥ 2 points at baseline, excluding 5 patients as they did not have EDSS ≥ 2 at baseline), but not significant [CDI at follow-up ( n = 5): 1930 (1471–2999) pg/mL, no CDI at follow-up ( n = 25): 1717 (1354–2398) pg/mL, p = 0.58].
We, therefore, applied VAM and DNT to FA‐treated LGMD2B myobundles and found a slight trend for increased OCR (Figure S10A–E , Supporting Information), which, however, was accompanied by a significant increase in glycolysis and decrease in OCR:ECAR ratio (Figure S10F , Supporting Information).
A meta-analysis of 13 prospective studies, with 397,296 participants, showed that wine consumption was associated with a significant reduction of the risk for type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), with a pooled relative risk of 0.85, whereas beer or spirits consumption led to a slight trend towards a decreasing risk for T2DM (relative risk 0.96 and 0.95, respectively) [ 70 ].
Quality of life scores On the MLWHF, there was no significant difference between the groups at any time point, although there was a slight trend towards the intervention group having slightly less deterioration over the six months in overall quality of life than the UC control group (mean difference +6.7 ± 16.2 vs +9.5 ± 10.8; p = 0.6).
Two studies[ 16 19 ] reported lower mean fasting total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels in S-DN patients, whereas several studies have failed to show any association.[ 17 25 26 ] Spelman et al ., in 2007 comparing 38 S-DN patients with 44 matched healthy controls found no differences in total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, or triglycerides.[ 17 ] Sengupta et al .,[ 25 ] in a study on first episode psychosis (FEP) patients also did not find any lipid derangements except a slight trend of lower HDL levels.
