Otherwise, we observed a slight trend toward higher median duration of CRRT using ADVOS lasting 96 h in comparison to the median duration of continuous hemodialysis treatment among patients in the CytoSorb group lasting only 72 h, that might partly explain a better removal of serum creatinine and blood urea nitrogen under ADVOS than under CytoSorb with CVVHDF.
