However, there is no evidence of this female advantage in play/comfort sounds, and aside from the lack of approach to agonistic sounds, only a slight trend suggests that females are more likely to approach in case of distress sounds.
Across the nine saliva sampling strategies, the median percentage differences clustered near zero, with a slight trend toward underprediction of plasma AUC 0–24 (median interquartile range [IQR] < − 5%).
