Each co‐occurring PLE group showed a slight trend towards association with having the oldest fathers (aged 55 years+) but numbers were too small to allow formal analysis.

Regarding the cervical lordosis corrections, specifically C2–7 Cobb correction and C4–5 Cobb correction, their associations with C5P were not statistically significant in the multivariate analysis, despite a slight trend towards significance for C2–7 Cobb correction in the univariate analysis.

However, the data showed a slight trend towards positive effects of active tDCS in that the cessation rate was slightly higher than in the sham group, at least up to and including the fifth session, however this trend was not statistically significant.

Neither the H4N6 nor H6N1 virus appeared to be negatively affected by the presence of BST-2, with H4N6 showing a slight trend towards increased replication in MDCK-BST-2 cells ( Fig. 2 B, C).

Static magnetic stimulation, where the magnet is placed adjacent to the microtissue for the duration of the experiment, shows a slight trend to increase vascular formation in most samples that previously were unable to support vessel formation (Fig. 5b ).

Model diagnostics showed a normal QQ plot and a slight trend of positive residuals all falling in the middle of the predictions range.

DEM also affected the relative gene expression of nd-1 (gene of the mitochondrial DNA), as short-term treatment showed a slight trend toward lower levels, whereas long-term treatment increased the expression ( Fig. 6 C, F).

Although a slight trend upward was observed, the constant rise and fall of participant PHQ-9 scores seemed to affect the accuracy.

M45-specific cells were stably maintained at low levels well into senescence with a slight trend for increasing numbers at very old age ( Figure 2D, F ) suggesting that these cells and their naïve precursors were not exhausted.

However, when observed graphically, there appears to be a slight trend where higher levels of gene expression tend to be observed when vacuoles are present (Figure 3 B).

Fixed effect vs random effects Both random effects and fixed effect models showed in general good agreement on the size of the effect ( S6 Fig ), especially in those situations where heterogeneity was low, although a slight trend to produce larger OR was observed in the fixed effect models.

The present study showed a slight trend to an improved healthy lifestyle among adolescents, although much more has to be done.

Albeit the non significant values obtained for the chi-square, there was a slight trend of reduction or stabilization of the number of individuals classified as sarcopenic as defined by the ASM index.
