Other limitations of this study include the following: 1) the relative high retention rates at newborn, 18 months and 3 years of age (> 75%) but lower retention rate at 6 years of age may have affected the power of the prediction of allergic diseases in children at 6 years of age; 2) Although infant cough without colds (no symptom, occasional or frequent) in the Chi-square for trend analysis revealed a significant trend on prediction of AS, the sizes of populations in AD, AR or AS for the group ≥ 3 days per week were less than 13 (between 7 and 13), suggesting the statistical power is not qualified for the inference; 3) using questionnaires to collect allergic symptoms by parents may have a recall bias, although we made a group consensus to collect the data by differentiating common colds with a course of 5 to 7 days of continual daily symptoms from infant sneezing or cough without colds at morning and/or night occurrence more than 2 weeks in the last 6 months.
Region of interest analyses Results Further investigations on the influence of emotion on cognition within peak regions of interests as based on FWE-corrected peak regions derived from the here identified emotion- (Neg>Neu trials) and cognition (IC>S) network revealed a significant trend within left amygdala, right insula and right precentral gyrus to show decreases of neural activation along for emotional primes with increasing cognitive demand.
Nonetheless, our finding that PAs slowed reclamation is consistently observed in all seven PAs and supported by our analyses showing that (i) there was a significant trend of decreasing reclamation in PA sites compared to non-PA control sites ( Fig. 1D ) and (ii) reclamation became significantly lower in PA than non-PA control sites in the most recent year of investigation (table S2).
The decline in the ACDF cohort’s LOS may indicate improved surgeon proficiency, while the rise in the CDA cohort’s LOS may be due to increased use of multilevel CDA and broader surgeon adoption, both associated with longer operative times and extended postoperative recovery.[ 39 , 40 ] Readmission rates were the only other complication that showed a significant trend over time.
Considering that we found no significant association between hand TEWL and increased glove use but did find a significant trend of worsening of relative parameters ΔTEWL, ΔTEWL%, ΔpH, and ΔpH%, our study has confirmed the hypothesised utility of using the forearm as a personal baseline when investigating skin health on hands exposed to occupational hazards.
Thus, the presence of food odors and aggregation pheromone had a net positive effect on population numbers. In the first 5 generations, during population growth, there was a significant trend in time, i.e., the mortality due to the Allee effect decreased significantly and mortality due to competition increased significantly (both p < 0.0001) (Fig. 6a ).
More recently, data from a cross-sectional study of soy food intakes and mammographic densities [ 26 ] indicated the presence of a significant trend toward higher percentage density through increasing quartiles of soy intake, but a small study of a soy isoflavone supplement [ 27 ] did not significantly alter breast density after 1 year of treatment.
