The authors have found that prevalence rates of positive CD serology for anti-tTG and antiendomysium IgA in a group of 120 patients with endometriosis versus 1500 controls were statistically significant (4.1% in patients versus 0.8% in controls), even if the prevalence rates of the biopsy-confirmed CD did not reach the statistical significance (2.5% cases versus 0.66% controls), showing only a positive trend, maybe also because one patient refused the endoscopic examination.

Overall, soil enzyme activity exhibited a positive trend with increasing organic fertilizer application, consistent with previous research ( Song D. et al., 2022 ). 3.4 Euryales Semen metabolomics In this study, we identified 275 compounds, including 76 fatty acids and derivatives, 47 flavonoids and derivatives, and 34 organic acid metabolites and derivatives ( Figure 4A ).
When the levels of phosphorylated ALK in the neuroblastoma cell lines were normalized to total ALK signals from the immunoassays and compared with densitometry of the immunoblots, there was a positive correlation that was statistically significant for the total ALK and pY1278 and pY1586 ALK assays, and although not significant, a positive trend between densitometry and immunoassay for the detection of pY1604 ALK was seen (Fig. 2 C).
When APC was evaluated stratified by race/ethnicity, a positive trend was observed for children who were non-Hispanic White (APC: 1.52%, 95%-CI: 0.15–2.91) that was statistically significant; positive APCs also were observed for children who were non-Hispanic Black, or API (APC: 2.01%, 95%-CI: −1.50 to 5.63, and 3.66%, 95%-CI: −0.47 to 7.97, respectively, Figure 3 and Supplementary Table S5 ) but the CIs included the null.
