The methodological quality of the publications shows a positive trend over time, as evidenced by a significant positive correlation between methodological scores and the year of publication (r = 0.45, p = 0.001; see Fig. 3 ), but there is still room for improvement, and future efforts should focus on addressing these limitations. 3.3.
