This is in agreement with two recent studies conducted in the Central Mediterranean Sea in which males showed a positive trend in allometric growth [ 15 , 76 ].

Similarly, c-Fos was not changed in the MHb following exposure to social isolation stress; however, a positive trend was noted [ 25 ].
