A meta-analysis of four RCTs and eight observational studies of DEB-TACE versus conventional TACE found a nonsignificant trend in 1-, 2-, and 3-year survival in favor of DEB-TACE, and concluded DEB-TACE to be non-superior to conventional TACE ( 63 ).
