For example, the size of the middle‐elevation Daurian pika ( Ochotona daurica ) shows a negative trend as elevation increases (Liao et al., 2006 ), while that of the high‐altitude plateau pika ( Ochotona curzoniae ) presents a positive trend (Lin, Ci, Zhang, & Su, 2008 ).
