Despite a favorable trend of increased SLNB (14.9 to 54.2%) with decreased ALND (29.5 to 9.1%) over the time frame of our study, practice patterns nevertheless do not adhere to NCCN and ASCO guidelines regarding axillary evaluation, and demonstrate variation by patient ages, tumor size, geographic location, and practice facility type.
