Despite mixed reports of a decreasing trend in MLEA in England, it is encouraging that there is no evidence for an increasing trend in the general population considering the increase in prevalence of type 2 diabetes. 49 Some reports found evidence of an increase in the incidence of minor lower limb amputations that may partly explain this. 7 However, there is evidence of a statistically significant rise in the number of amputations in those with type 2 diabetes from one report. 45 This increasing trend was seen over the 1996–2005 period; with no more recent studies, it is unclear as to whether this trend is continuing.
8 Despite a decreasing trend, all‐cause mortality of HF patients was significantly higher in comparison with the ESC‐HF Long‐Term Registry (8.1% all‐cause deaths in 1 year). 12 The possible explanation could be the fact that only patients seen at cardiology outpatient clinics and not patients with chronic HF seen in other ambulatory facilities or those seen by other professionals such as internists were included in the ESC‐HF Long‐Term Registry.
9 On comparing the results shown above for the solvents with BK-1 diluent with earlier data obtained with octan-1-ol, it can be concluded that the systems behave in a similar way, even though the radiation stability of the systems with BK-1 was inferior to those with octan-1-ol. In both diluents, a decreasing trend for the distribution ratios as the absorbed dose increased was observed.
Plotting the mechanical properties at a single representative angular frequency (ω = 10 rad/s) shows a decreasing trend in both storage and loss moduli as gels decrease in network density, consistent with previous observations for similar materials (Figure 2(b) ). 31 A flow sweep evaluating the shear‐rate dependence of the materials was performed to examine the gels' viscosity and yield stress behavior (Figure 2(c),(d) ).
The smartphone addiction in the basic control period (September) and the basic end period (December) is significantly lower than that in the severe period (January to March), namely with the epidemic gradually under control, the levels of smartphone addiction among university students show a decreasing trend (confirmation of Hypothesis 1c).
