A decreasing trend is clearly noticed as the number of layers increases.

The number of coexpressed known miRNAs in fsv1 and Gui 99 exhibited a decreasing trend during ovule development, suggesting that miRNA may be involved in regulating female gametophyte fertility mainly at the early stage of ovule development.
