Although the seed setting rate is lower in OE- OsMYBS1 plants, both the total grain number ( Supplementary Figure S6A ) and total filled grain number ( Supplementary Figure S6B ) were significantly higher in OE-1 and OE-3 compared with WT, whereas OE-2 displayed no significant difference but did not show a decreasing trend.
The year profile follows a decreasing trend from the cold months (APO: 2497 ± 2340 ng/m 3 ; SCT: 2731 ± 2545 ng/m 3 ) (where the highest consumption of fossil fuels and biomass burning tends to occur, as well as the lowest wind speeds and mixing heights), passing to lower concentrations during spring and early summer (APO: 1936 ± 1235 ng/m 3 ; SCT: 1481 ± 1524 ng/m 3 ) (where highest wind speeds occur, as well as mixing heights), with a minimum around the wet-summer time.
The partial likelihood deviance plot showed a decreasing trend with increasing log(λ), reaching a minimum at approximately log(λ) = − 3, which suggests an optimal λ value of approximately 0.001, indicating that the genes selected at this point are most relevant for predicting the prognosis of OS patients treated with Shikonin (Supplementary Fig. 2B).
The increasing trend in the NH–SH tropical precipitation difference is qualitatively consistent with a decreasing trend in the cloud contribution to the NH–SH tropical ASR difference ( Fig. 4 C )—we find that SH tropical precipitation decreases relative to the NH tropics and SH tropical ASR resulting from cloud changes increases relative to the NH tropics, implying progressively less precipitation and clouds in the SH tropics relative to the NH tropics with time.

The contents of Cr, Cu, As, Pb and Zn in MLS were significantly exceeded those in MLZ and MLX, which reason was that long-term storage of CG due to weathering and rainwater leaching promoted the activity of harmful heavy metals in CG, some of them were dissolved into the water body or soil with precipitation and infiltration, continued to migrate and enrich, resulting in the increase of heavy metal content in the soil [ 13 , 14 ], and it showed a decreasing trend with the increase distance from CG dump [ 19 , 22 ], aligning with observations by Lu et al.
