Direct comparison of the mean ROC AUC relative to the model input factor count for each of the 247 models revealed a clear trend showing that an increase in the number of input factors leads to an overall increase in the average mean and median ROC-AUC—indicating that the inclusion of a greater number of inputs generally improves prediction strength ( Fig 2A ).
In contrast, examination of the plasma levels of the hormone ghrelin, which is known to inhibit the insulin secretion in pancreatic ß-cells in vivo [ 34 ], showed that 100 mg/Kg dose of D-Pinitol was able to increase significantly the levels of ghrelin in plasma as soon as 10 min ( p < 0.01) after D-Pinitol load, with a clear trend to maintain the levels of ghrelin above the baseline levels in plasma ( Figure 7 ).
Enamel Subsurface Lesions Depths There were no significant differences in changes in mean lesion depths (LDd−LDr) following treatment with TM (22.09 ± 6.46 μm) and TMP (33.23 ± 10.73 μm) ( p > 0.05), although there was a clear trend of a greater effect with TMP, as shown in Figure 2 .
The probed [R 4 M] − complexes show a clear trend in their unimolecular reactivity: The tendency toward a concerted reductive elimination, i.e., a two‐electron process, increases in the series M = Fe, Co, Ni, and Cu.
