Here we showed a borderline significant trend of ALDH1A1+ phenotype for PFS.

Additionally, peritumoral PD-L1 positivity significantly correlated with vascular invasion, a lower albumin level (≤35 g/L), and liver cirrhosis (with a borderline significant trend).

Lymphohematopoietic malignancies were significantly increased in both groups with a borderline significant trend.

Although the significance of discordant cancers is controversial, patients with discordant cases demonstrate a borderline significant trend toward survival differences compared to those with concordant cases, which may be a potential therapeutic strategy for discrepant tonsil cancers with SMARCB1 mutation [ 47 , 48 , 49 ].

In a phase 3 randomised controlled trial (RCT) ( n = 205) [ 38 ], there was a borderline significant trend for iv reslizumab 3 mg/kg to improve FEF 25–75 over 16 weeks by 0.233 L/s vs placebo, exceeding the established biological variability in severe asthma of 0.21 L/s [ 39 ] to infer a clinically relevant treatment effect.

In contrast, no significant association was observed between rs652438 genotypes and asthma susceptibility in individuals older than 40 years (all p > 0.05), despite a borderline significant trend analysis ( p for trend = 0.0487).
