To assess the statistical significance of the enrichment of cLD in 3D contact regions, we conducted Mantel-Haenszel and Fisher exact tests ( Section 3.4 in S1 Text ), both of which are highly significant (P-value < 1.0E-50; Tables J and R and Section 3.4.1 in S1 Text ).

This difference was apparent regardless of whether the minor allele is associated with higher (Δmean |log 2 (aFC)| = −0.277; two-tailed Wilcoxon rank-sum test: W = 928,592, P = 1.39 × 10 −50 ) or lower expression (Δmean |log 2 (aFC) = −0.268; two-tailed Wilcoxon rank sum test: W = 967,228, P = 2.97 × 10 −47 ), consistent with a model of stabilizing selection whereby gene expression is maintained within an optimal range.
In contrast, NLR showed a moderate correlation (r = 0.6299) with a highly significant difference between the pre- and post-deployment values ( p = 1.43 × 10 −50 ) ( Table 3 ).
Recent large-scale meta-analyses of PD GWAS have described a highly significant peak at chromosome 4 (latest PD GWAS, chr4:951947 (hg19)/rs34311866, P = 1.47 E − 50, odds ratio [OR] = 1.232, standard error [SE] = 0.014) ( 3 , 4 ).
These differences in the percentage of cells with naive phenotype between day 0 and nadir, and between nadir and plateau, were highly significant (p = 1.99 × 10 −50 and p = 2.69 × 10 −38 , respectively, by paired t test).
As a group, haplotype-specific FIRE scores for these 124 peaks carried highly significant differences between their corresponding haplotypes (paired t test, p < 2 × 10 −50 , Figure 4 D).
This result was also reflected in our highly significant Pearson's correlation analysis of the cumulative deletion read % between Splice-Break and MitoDel (Pearson's r : 0.950; P = 2.98e −50 ) ( Supplemental Figure S14J ).
Under an additive model [ 48 ], a nominally significant positive association with FG was observed: per increment of additional G allele at rs560887 in G6PC2 , FG was 0.070 mmol/l (95% CI: 0.060, 0.079, p = 4.635e-50) higher, with heterogeneity observed (I 2 = 72%, 95% CI: 60%, 80%; H 2 = 2.56).
Overall, population differentiation between basins along the first eigenvector was highly significant ( p ‐value = 5.4 × 10 −50 : summed across AMOVA comparisons). 3.4 Isolation and migration analysis reveals gene flow between divergent populations The unconstrained model, M‐mode in IMa2p, estimated a population splitting time parameter t of 0.29 (HiPt = 0.299, HPD95Lo‐Hi: 0.253–0.351).
This overlap is highly significant ( P = 6 × 10 -50 ) and substantially greater than with any other signatures we tested (Table 1 ).
Using 14–19 months of cumulative 24/7 home-cage activity recorded with a non-intrusive technique, evidence is here provided for a highly significant circannual oscillation in spontaneous activity (1–2 SD of the mean, on average 65% higher during peak of highs than lows; P = 7E−50) of male and female C57BL/6 mice held under constant conditions.
Comparing the inferred “age/maturity” of the individual B-cell cluster showed highly significant differences between the three nonmature B-cell subpopulations (Kruskal-Wallis test, p =9.84e-50).
Finally, the region of residence presented a highly significant association ( p < 10 −49 ), with a minimum expected value of 21,573, indicating a strong relationship between the place of residence and the distribution of maternal and late deaths, as shown in Table 3 .
Comparison with our dataset of ERG-regulated ASEs revealed that a highly significant proportion (132/410; 32.2%, P < 10E–50) of ERG-regulated ASEs were also sensitive to RBFOX2 knockdown (Figure 3D ).
For example, of 596 genes in cluster 6A ( Figure 6 ) ( R 2 =0.505), 165 were involved in the process of worm growth according the Gene Ontology annotations, representing a highly significant enrichment of gene function in this cluster ( P < 10 −49 ) (Supplementary Data).
Intriguingly, there was a highly significant region × chromosome interaction ( P = 2.35 × 10 −49 ) effect at the exon-level but not at the transcript-level ( P = 1.00).
This difference was highly significant ( P = 4.3E-49 in chi-square test; Supplementary Dataset S1).
These differences were highly significant across all immune parameters (Kruskal-Wallis P < 10 − 48 for all comparisons).
The t- tests were found to be highly significant (p-value < 10 −48 ) when compared to the BNA causal nets based models, suggesting significant difference in the observed performances of the models raised during these tests when compared with the actual BNA based models.
Consistent with our prior publications 14 , 15 , we found clear suppression of EWS::FLI1 induced targets that was highly significant at the TES with both LCE ( P = 1.1e-48) and HCE ( P = 1.5e-33)(Fig. 3b ).
Among CpG sites distinguishing current smokers versus never smokers in lung adenocarcinoma at P < 10 −4 (n = 296 sites), we observed highly significant enrichment for the adult blood signature at P = 1.2 × 10 −48 .

The UCP2–CD68 association remained highly significant after adjustment (partial ρ = 0.524, p = 1.80 × 10 − 48 ), confirming that the relationship between UCP2 expression and macrophage infiltration is not a spurious consequence of tumour purity variation ( Supplementary Fig.
