Due to the large number of variables, non-parametric tests were consistently used and a statement regarding statistical significance was only made in the case of highly significant p-values ( p ≤ 0.0001).
Excerpts
Event-specific cumulative incidence curves were thus estimated from the decomposition of the EFS curves and a computer program (COMPETE) developed at the Institut Gustave-Roussy was used for the calculations. Results obtained using the competing risk approach were compared to the method of ignoring or censoring other events for the data provided here. Results The EFS curves for the three groups are shown in Figure 1. The difference in EFS between the low risk group and both high risk groups was highly significant (P<0.0001).
The main effect of “correctness” factor controlling for age and sex was highly significant as for TPT, F (1,51) = 23.78; p < 0.0001, as for AED, F (1,51) = 15.65; p < 0.0001.
Pancreatic investigations using computed tomography (CT), MRI, and EUS conducted in five US academic medical centers demonstrated pancreatic findings in 42% of 216 asymptomatic HRIs; these included cysts (39%, mean: 0.55 cm in size), pancreatic duct dilation (2.3%) and solid mass (1.4%), and an increasing trend by age (14% among those <50 years, 34% in patients 50–59 years, and 53% in 60–69 years; p < 0.0001) [ 76 ].
Two CpG-sites were borderline significant in HD – cg18222192 (MIR708)( p < 10E-05, p FDR = 5.81E-02) and cg01299774 (MIR4456)(p < 10E-06, p FDR = 5.81E-02).
4 (G to I) , there was a highly significant difference in exosomal Aβ 1–42 levels between 5×FAD mice and C57BL/6 controls by iMEP ( P < 0.0001, unpaired t test).
Given the highly significant negative correlations between FAI FAT and %F in both sexes of the examined sample (males: r = − 0.5013; females: r = − 0.3564; p < 0.0001), we performed a regression analysis identifying body misperception for subjects with FAI FAT ≥ 2 or ≤ − 2 (Figs. 1 and 2 ) in accordance with previous studies [ 41 , 42 ] on the interpretation of perceived figure (Feel figure) and actual anthropometric values.
By contrast, intergroup comparisons revealed that the differences between groups A and B regarding LTP and neurogenesis were consistently highly significant (LTP, t test, P = 0.0001; chi-square test, P = 0.0028; neurogenesis, t test, P = 0.0002; chi-square test, P = 0.006) confirming that the patterns are indeed different.
The statistical difference was also highly significant (Newman–Keuls; p < 0.0001) between samples from Group C and those from Group L while the difference between group S and the group L was not statistically significant ( Table 5 ).
Gender-wise, 126 (49.2%) females were in class V compared to 31 (12.1%) males, and this difference was highly significant (χ2 = 54.82, p < 0.0001) (Table 1 ).
250 breast cancers have been reported (85 anastrozole [4·4%] vs 165 placebo [8·5%]; table 1 ), with a highly significant 49% reduction for all breast cancer with anastrozole (HR 0·51, 95% CI 0·39–0·66, p<0·0001).
The onset of TAO within 2 years after the treatment with RAI and the titer of TSHR-Abs The relation between the onset of orbitopathy symptoms in patients with GD during a two-year of follow-up after a therapeutic dose of 131 I and the titer of TSHR-Abs in the serum was highly significant ( P <0.0001).
In both cohorts, all comparisons of PXVX0200 to placebo were highly significant ( P < 0.0001).
The interaction of winter treatment and origin was highly significant (GLMM, X 2 1 = 15.2, P < 0.0001): after warm winters, spiders from the southern core region had higher probability to balloon (18 %) than after cold winters (8%).
All of the interactions are highly significant ( p < 0.0001).
This highly significant ( p < 0.0001) increase in copper content over the range of 0–5 μM Cu 2+ , as compared to that observed with overexpression of YebZ alone, supports a key role for YobA in copper transport.
Our results are accordance with Jampoka et al., 36 who reported a highly significant increase in the serum levels of mi-RNA-122 in NAFLD patients compared to the control group. 36 For mi-RNA-122, the AUC was 0.831 ( p < 0.0001) with 75.0% sensitivity and 82.35% specificity.
As there were highly significant differences ( P < 0.0001) in all assembled mitogenomes, we fit estimated copy numbers against chromosome lengths using linear regressions.
Primary outcome The primary outcome of change in FMD of the brachial artery showed a significant trend in the difference among arms from TC to EC-nicotine to EC-nicotine-free (linear trend β for TC, EC-nicotine, EC-nicotine-free = 0.73%; 95% CI: 0.41 to 1.05; p < 0.0001).
The difference in survival expectance between patients with high-risk score and low-risk score was highly significant (p<0.0001).
As can be seen in Table 4 , there was a statistically highly significant association ( p = 0.0001) between the variables.
However, in direct sunlight the background correction applied ceases to function and two-way ANOVA and post-hoc multiple comparisons were highly significant ( p < 0.0001) for background illumination and direct sunlight, respectively ( Table 5 ).
Further, on days 7 and 14, the membrane group showed an extremely significant reduction compared to values in respective control groups (p < 0.0001).
There was a significant trend for a decline in the ‘magnitude’ of the ∆SBP decreases in the ET + RT group from sessions 2, 4, 6, and 8 (−8.8, −8.5, −2.1, and −1.1, p < 0.0001, respectively, to each session) ( Figure 4A ).
