The combined group demonstrated a substantially larger and highly significant positive effect (SMD = 2.02, 95% CI: 1.83 to 2.21; P < 0.00001).
Excerpts
Regression analysis revealed a highly significant relationship between 28S and 18S copy numbers ( R 2 = 0.996; P < 0.00001; Supplementary Fig. 1 in Supplementary File 3 ), with a regression coefficient close to the expected value of 1 (1.02).
Marginally significant associations (p < 1 × 10 −5 ) are reported in Table S2 .
The fact that the result remains highly significant ( p < 0.00001) with a narrow confidence interval after removing the outliers strengthens the conclusion that TCM external therapy is efficacious, and the initial overall estimate was not merely an artifact of heterogeneous studies.
The dF/S analysis revealed a highly significant enhancement of syx-GFP cluster formation of over 60% by vSyx (p < 0.00001, Fig. 2D ).
Gender differences in normal individuals Figure 1 A shows that there are no significant differences in QRS-amplitude sum in the six limb-leads between males and females ( P = 0.78), but there are highly significant differences in QRS-amplitude sum from the six chest-leads, with values in females being lower ( P = 0.00001).
These changes correspond to a highly significant ( t (44) = 5.10, p < 0.00001) decrease in average FA in the white matter between left thalamus and left IPL (Figure 2B ).
The deviation from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium is highly significant ( P < 10 −5 , Fisher’s Exact Test 40 ) with a complete absence of heterozygotes.
A posterior-dominant pattern of ‘neural slowing’ was observed, with increased theta band power in PD that was highly significant ( p < 0.00001), as well as a spatially similar concomitant decrease in gamma-band activity ( p < 0.00001)—in other words, an increase in low frequency activity and a decrease in high frequency activity.
graminis cultures were positively correlated with one another and very highly significant ( P = 0.00001) ( Table 2 ).
Conversely, for mortality outcomes, the combined effect for stage I–IV HR+ breast cancer was highly significant, demonstrating a 23% reduction in overall mortality risk (HR = 0.77, 95% CI: 0.73–0.81, P < 0.00001).
These differences were highly significant (P < 0.00001).
After quality control and differential analysis, we identified 298 highly significant DMSs (p ≤ 1E-5).
The genotype × harvest season interaction was highly significant (Fg × hs = 4.00, p < 0.00001), indicating the presence of clones with distinct yield performance over time ( Figure 1 ).
These values were found to be statistically highly significant [ P < 0.00001; Table 4 ].
A total of 90 highly significant QTL (245 SNPs; p < 10 −5 ) were identified for salinity-related traits with the strongest associations detected for root Na + content followed by root Na + :K + ( Fig 2A and 2B , respectively).
Scores from PCA were normally distributed ( p > 0.2), and the DFA among the 19 locations was highly significant (Wilks’ Lambda: 0.44442, F (33,922) = 8.8617, p < 0.00001, n = 533).
For Experiments I & II, we selected units with a split-half correlation of at least 0.1, where this correlation was highly significant (p< 10 −5 ).
Even among the 1223 marginally significant ( p < 1 × 10 −5 ) probes identified by Hannon and colleagues [ 4 ] in the discovery sample (Table S3 in [ 4 ]) there was minimal overlap in differential methylation signal at the probe ( N = 2) or gene ( N = 9 and N = 3, respectively) levels.
A low but highly significant level of population differentiation was observed between the European-1 and -2 subclusters (F CT 0.018, P < 0.00001, Table 5 ); 59% of genetic distances between populations of the two subclusters were significant, but only 14% and 22% of the intracluster distances were significant.
Loci harboring marginally significant evidence for association at P <10 −5 were examined for independent signals via regression analyses in PLINK. 16 A term was added to the regression model including the lead SNP as a covariate, and SNPs within the same candidate gene, or ±200 kb if the candidate gene region was <200 kb, were evaluated for maintaining array-wide significance.
The mean of the MICs, 0.71 (range: 0.66 to 0.76, n = 166 for each), was highly significant, p < 0.00001 (SD across the 18 MICs = 0.03, 95% CI [0.72, 0.69]).
Linkage disequilibrium and haplotype analysis The LD test revealed that LD was moderately significant between T182C and A3081T (|D'|=0.702, r 2 =0.275, p-value=<10 -5 ) but not between A3081T and G1287A or between T182C and G1287A ( Table 5 ).
In line with these observations, the 2 (task: judge number/mean size) x 2 (unattended magnitude: small/big) repeated measure ANOVA performed on PSEs estimates showed a highly significant interaction between task and magnitude of the unattended dimension (F(1,13) = 52.17, p<10 −5 ), with PSE estimates differing between small and large unattended magnitude only for the average size task (p<10 −5 ) but not for the numerosity task (p = 0.37).

In a meta‐analysis of six studies of CRT, the 95% CIs for the improvement in peak VO 2 with CRT went from 0.32 to 3.22 mL/kg/min, with borderline significance, P = 0.017, 35 compared with the narrower CI, and more highly significant effect seen here: 95% CIs for the improvement in peak VO 2 with CCM between 0.56 and 1.30 mL/kg/min, P < 0.00001, giving a considerably more precise estimate of efficacy and of increased statistical significance.
