Statistical analysis carried out on the timing errors, pooled over all subjects after averaging over all repetitions of each condition (four-way ANOVA, 3 [viewing distance] x 5 [ball descent duration] x 2 [figure type] x 6 [character type]), showed highly significant effects of character type ( F 5,1168 = 113.188, P <10 −7 ) and figure type ( static versus dynamic , F 1,1168 = 25.180, P <10 −6 ), less significant effects of viewing distance ( F 2,1168 = 3.602, P <0.05) and of the interaction between character type and figure type ( F 5,1168 = 2.569, P <0.05).
Excerpts
A 2-way ANOVA on proportion of correct recalls revealed no main effect of group (F(1,34) = 3.51, p = .065, r = .25), but a highly significant effect of type of Encoding (F(1,34) = 44.45, p<.0000001, r = .75), and a significant interaction between Group and type of Encoding (F(1,34) = 9.14, p<.005, r = .46).
P i signal dropped faster than PCr increased during recovery (see Table 1 ); the correlation between the time constants τ PCr recovery and was highly significant ( r = 0.98, p < 10 − 7 ).
For 5 m bins, mound ID is highly significant ( p <10 −7 ) and distance is also significant ( p = 0.01), with density increasing on average with distance, but with much variation between mounds (no significant interaction effect).
Autophagy genes, including DAPK3 and ULK1, which were previously shown to be DAXX repression targets [Submitted], were found to be closer to DAXX ChIP-Seq peaks than all other genes combined (Figure 3 ), implying that they are very likely to be regulated by DAXX (with the difference being highly significant: p < 10 −7 ).
The partial correlations coefficients were still statistically highly significant ( P < 10 -7 , for all comparisons) and indicated that the correlations between ω and breadth of expression were independent from gene length.
Axis 1 values show highly significant correlation with the GC 3 values (r 2 = 0.85, p < 10 -7 ), indicating separation of genomes according to their genomic GC-content.
In both rural and tribal areas there was a highly significant association between poor glycemic control and DR ( P value < 0.0000001) [ Table 4 ].
A highly significant correlation existed between the AUC values of APC and NPC ( r =0.857, P <10 −7 ).
For the three factors where a correct association is predicted, the result is judged highly significant by a one-tailed Fisher's; Exact test ( P < 10 − 7 ) (data not shown).
In all cases R was >0.90 and all correlations were highly significant (10 −12 < P < 10 −7 ).
In this case, the first two PCs were highly significant, namely a Tracy-Widom test P-value <10 −7 , but the additional lower ranked PCs (third and onwards) had P-value larger than 0.05.
In contrast, the P -values between the two groups were highly significant ( P < 10 −7 ).
The qPCR and array-based metrics do not follow a linear relationship; the correlation between the two improves at highly significant array-based p-values < 10 -7 [ 43 ].
We found very strong evidence of association of multiple SNPs at TTC12 and ANKK1 in two different populations, EAs and AAs (minimal P=0.0007 in AAs and minimal P=0.00009 in EAs), and highly significant association of a single haplotype (set of markers) spanning TTC12 and ANKK1 to ND in the pooled sample (P=0. 0000001).
The test showed highly significant correlations for all four locations (C6‐r: tau = 0.52, p < 10 −7 ; C6‐l: tau = 0.52, p < 10 −7 ; C5‐r: tau = 0.53, p < 10 −7 ; C5‐l: tau = 0.50, p < 10 −6 ), confirming a statistically significant increase in the diameter with age for all four locations.
There was a highly significant difference (P< 10-7) between the two groups of patients.
Similarly, while only a marginal association was seen with parasite density for ABO ( p = 0.01), a highly significant association was seen with plasma Pf HRP2 concentration ( p = 10 −7 , Fig. 2 ).
Only SNPs mapped to autosomes with CR > 0.98, minor allele frequencies (MAF) > 0.03, and not in highly significant deviation Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium (P > 10 −7 ) were considered in the analyses.
In the WHI, all but one of the 1000 cis CpG-transcript pairs from discovery in FHS replicated at a nominally significant p -value of 0.05 with matching effect directionality, while 997 replicated at p < 1E−7 with matching effect directionality.
These changes could reflect changes in the training of those who name species, as more species are named by scientists who are not classically trained taxonomists or who have less familiarity with Latin and Greek; however, these hypotheses would be difficult to test. A notable feature of the etymological patterns in table 2 is that they vary among the surveyed taxa (and this variation is highly significant: p < 10 −7 ).
The difference of this value with the plateau of neutralizing activity of hospitalized individuals was highly significant (p < 10 –7 by Z-test, and p < 10 –4 by Wilcoxon test as described in methods; Fig. 2 B), and reflects the different distribution (p = 0.0003, Chi-square test) of individuals with undetectable (< 20), low (20–100), medium (100–1000) or high (> 1000) neutralization titers in the non-hospitalized and the hospitalized groups (Fig. 2 C).
In the Mushroom dataset, unlike SIPRI, the Friedman test detected highly significant ranking differences in all five metrics (all p < 10 −7 ).
Additionally, a highly significant difference was observed in the β-cell function across the Chinese diabetic stages ( p < 0.0000001).
Polygenic risk score (PRS) computation SNPs of PRS include: 1) SNPs that are statistically significant or nominally significant per GWAS threshold ( p < 1.0 × 10 − 7 and p < 1.0 × 10 − 6 , respectively) and exome sequencing analysis ( p < 9.2 × 10 − 7 and p < 9.2 × 10 − 6 , respectively) [ 14 ]; 2) Index SNPs or Proxy SNPs in 1 Mb region that were statistically significantly and nominally significantly associated with bone health ( p < p value threshold and p < 0.05, respectively).
