While m/z parameters showed moderate differences that didn’t reach statistical significance ( p = 0.082), intensity parameters demonstrated highly significant variations between groups ( p < 0.001), with notably lower Mean_Intensity values in cancer patients (Cohen’s d = 1.64).
The contribution of the Arginine pathway was further confirmed by pathway analysis, conducted with Metaboanalyst 27 , which indicated “Arginine biosynthesis” as highly significant (p < 0.001). “Aminoacyl-tRNA metabolism” (p < 0.001), “Histidine metabolism” (p = 0.005), and “Alanine, Aspartate and Glutamate metabolism” (p = 0.026) were also indicated as significant pathways.
Localization Responses in Audiovisual Adaptation Trials In accordance with the audiovisual spatial mismatch, sound localization responses for adaptation trials were shifted toward the location of the concurrent visual stimuli, as indicated by a highly significant interaction of Group (750L/3000R or 750R/3000L) and Sound Frequency (750 Hz or 3000 Hz), F (1, 28) = 156.47, p < .001 (see Fig. 1 ).
However, the developmental time from parasitism to mummy formation had a highly significant influence on the number of pupae, with shorter time associated with a higher number of pupae (F 1, 90 = 18.41, p < 0.001).
In regard to survival probability of embryos derived from sexed-sperm, a highly significant individual sire effect was found on embryo survival time (Cox proportional hazards regression, p < 0.001, Fig. 2C ) highlighting that the survival time of embryos after sex sorting is bull-specific.
In both cases, this decrease was highly significant (p < 0.001).
Results revealed a highly significant constant term, indicating significant differences in the results for stress and rumination ( Wilks λ = 0.087, F (2,23) = 120.985, p < .001, η p 2 = 0.91).
The CL6 showed the highest AUC (0.89, 95% CI: 0.83−0.94), and the difference of the two AUC was highly significant ( P < 0.001).
For adults, there were significant or marginally significant positive biases in all distances (near: t (19) = 6.52, p < 0.001; middle: t (19) = 4.67, p < 0.001; far, t (22) = 1.96, p = 0.065), which suggests that adults tended to over-estimate finger positions.
The group effect was highly significant, with patients exhibiting a higher mean error (mean accuracy controls = 0.64 cm±0.31 cm; mean accuracy patients = 4.69 cm±2.65 cm; β = 4.678±0.847, t = 5.522, p < 0.001), but no main significant effect of target position or interaction effect between group and target position was revealed (all p > 0.05).
Parents performed more coordinated switches per hour (6.6 ± 2.8) than unsynchronised feeding trips (2.4 ± 1.3) and the difference was highly significant (t = −5.23, df = 13, p < 0.001).
The reduction in risk of developing GH among the subjects of study group compared to control group was quite significant (RR 2.65; CI 1.42–4.95; p < 0.001).
Spearman rank correlation between beetle tunnel volume and mass loss was highly significant (p < 0.001) with coefficient ρ = 0.49 (Fig. 4 ).
1 b), with both time points showing a highly significant increase (*** p < 0.001), confirming successful neuronal differentiation.
Toxicology bioassay Exposure of the mites to honey bee venom resulted in a highly significant increase in the percentage of inactive mites compared to the control (approximately 7% vs 0.9%, respectively; GLMM; χ 2 = 12.191, P < 0.001; Fig. 6 a).
Differences between any two parameters were defined as significant at p < 0.05 and highly significant at p < 0.001.
BMI change was highly significant between groups (Synbiotic: − 0.41 ± 0.81 vs. placebo: 0.53 ± 0.66, P < 0.001) 27 .
Both estimators for α and β are highly significant (p < 0.001) 32 , and the mean pseudo-R 2 is 0.98 for the I p = 4 case and the I p = 10 case.
Analysis of variance revealed highly significant differences ( p < 0.001) among the genotypes, blocks and its interaction for all the traits studied showed that a wide and significant variation existed among the genotypes and traits.
At baseline, there was a modest but highly significant effect of genotype on body mass (WT mice, 26.96 ± 0.21 g, n = 77; Mc3r TB/TB mice, 29.93 ± 0.36 g, n = 79, p < 0.001).
