3a ), we first carried out multinomial logistic regressions, which revealed a highly significant interaction ( p = 6.5 × 10 −7 ; likelihood ratio test) between compartments (i.e., bush, psyllid, orchard) and regions (i.e., PO, BR, VA).

Out of these 22 variant sets, 12 were in genes implicated in Mendelian disorders affecting red blood cells (for example EPB42 and TFR2 ; see Supplementary Table 15 ) and an additional five had highly significant associations with red blood cell traits in our data (p ≤ 7.82 × 10 –7 ; Supplementary Table 16 ).
Most notable were an increase in dead, sub-G1 cells (from 4.5% to 9.3%, P = 0.00173) in the siNR2F2 treated W-V cells and a highly significant decrease in cells in S-phase in siNR2F2 treated U2OS cells (from 19.5% to 6.6%, P = 9.0e−07) that was accompanied by increases in G1 and G2-M, suggesting a cell cycle arrest (Supplementary Figure S6 ).
MICs of individual and combined EOs were statistically compared using one-way ANOVA ( n = 3), revealing highly significant differences ( p < 0.000001) for all tested fungal species.
As expected, we observed a highly significant, positive relationship between metabolic rate and body mass ( R 2 = 0.53, F 1,175 = 193.65, P < 0.000001; log-transformed data).
The analysis yielded several significant findings: Firstly, a highly significant main effect of enrichment was observed on CO 2 consumption efficiency [F(1, 14) = 275.84, p < 0.000001].
All results were highly significant with p < 0.000001 for all values.
Indicator Species Multi-response permutation procedures (MRPP) showed an extremely significant difference in species composition across an edge-to-interior gradient in an overall comparison (Table 2 , P < 10 −6 ).
This gene was associated with MSTRG.4395, and multiple SNPs (positions: 1621958, 1622383, 1622481, 1622545, 1623626, 1622203, 1623988, 1624219, and 1624050) exhibited highly significant associations ( p < 10−6), suggesting their potential role in regulating lncRNA expression.
Upon initial analysis, the storage process demonstrated a highly significant effect (Hotelling multivariate p-value = 1 × 10 −6 ).
All other combinations of methods and scenarios had highly significant sensitivity (P < 1.0 × 10 −6 ) and specificity (P < 1.0 × 10 −6 ) compared to the baseline value 0.5, except for sensitivity of Lasso in Scenario 2 (P = 0.90).
Highly significant differences ( P < 0.000001) were observed for both potassium and calcium relative to the other minerals (Fig. 10 ).
The log10-transformed engorged larval weight was a highly significant predictor of the log10-transformed unfed nymphal weight, and the former explained 72.7% of the variation in the latter (Fig. 4 ; regression: F 1, 651 = 1738, p < 0.000001; correlation: r = 0.854, t = 41.859, df = 652, p < 0.000001).
6 a) shows similar performance between the NMF and PCA methods, with a small but highly significant trend towards increased values for the NMF method ( p < 10 − 6 , Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test).
ANOVA with the main factor Age-Group (adults, children) and repeated measures factor Velocity (3 conditions) revealed a highly significant effect of Velocity on gamma power (F (2,122) = 172.8, ε = 0.87, p < 1e −6 ; η 2 = 0.74), but no effect for the Age-Group or the Age-Group*Velocity interaction (p’s > 0.6).
Prior to statistical analysis, SNP data were filtered, using the BITE package 61 in R v4.0.5, according to the following criteria: (i) SNPs with call rates less than 95%, (ii) minor allele frequencies less than 5%, (iii) missing genotypes more than 5%, and iv) SNPs with highly significant deviation from the Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium ( P -value < 10 −6 ) 62 were eliminated.
We find subtle, but highly significant (p < 10 −6 ) differences in relative height and relative radius between the two populations ( Fig. 2e, g ).
Kolmogorov-Smirnov test showed this difference to be highly significant (p < 10 −6 ).
Similarly, 25% MCL showed a highly significant increase compared to 10% MCL (mean difference = 13.579, p = 1.07 × 10−6).
