Upregulated genes grouped into 75 highly significant categories (selected according to p <0.0005 and at least 10 genes per category, S2 Table ), of which 22 (29%) were involved in the development, growth or death of brain cells, functions of the nervous system (e.g., behavior, cognition, or mood disorders) and/or the amount of neurotransmitters ( Table 1A ).

Correspondingly, a highly significant difference for MFI comparing rosetting cultures of blood group A and partly rosetting of blood group O was seen for PAvarO (p = 0,0005) that disappeared with the growth with the pgIgG that prevents rosettes to form in culture (p = 0,0686).
However, the landscape was roughly the same at 1 and 2 km, as shown by the highly significant correlations of the variables at the two scales (all P-values < 0.0005; r = 0.85, 0.88 and 0.71, for percentage of natural habitats, crops and landscape heterogeneity respectively).
The distribution of the prevalence of these strata against age in years is highly significant (χ 2 (20) 106, p<0.0005, Figure 2 ).
A highly significant difference (p≤0.0005) in sialoadhesin mRNA levels was seen in AIDS patients (both AIDS-KS and non-AIDS-KS, median copy numbers per group ranged from 4.83×10 3 –2.35×10 4 /10 4 PBMC), and in HIV-1 infected a-symptomatic patients (median = 2.49×10 3 copies/10 4 PBMC) when compared with non-infected risk-group patients (median = 2.69×10 2 copies/10 4 PBMC) or with patients with exclusively an HHV-8 infection (median = 4.28×10 2 copies/10 4 PBMC).
As expected, there was a highly significant main effect of Load, F (4, 796) = 836, P <0.0005, η 2 p = 0.81.
Further ANCOVAs exploring the effects of group and hemisphere for each tract showed a highly significant effect of group for the UF, F(1,23) = 20.03, P<0.0005, and no corresponding effect for the IFOF, F(1,23) = 0.16, P>0.6.
GRP78 attracted our attention due to its high protein amount found in sparsely growing cells, and its highly significant difference in the two growth patterns (SW480: 3.3-fold, p = 0.0005, Figure 1B a, b, c ; HCT116: 2-fold, p = 0.0005, Figure 1B d, e, f ; single analyzed 2-DE areas are shown in Figure S1B ).
Univariate analysis of variance with the SBR (minimum over both hemispheres) as dependent variable and region of interest (caudate, putamen), DAT status (normal or reduced according to the written report in the patient’s file) and centre (Berlin, Leipzig, Rostock) as fixed factors revealed highly significant effects of the region of interest and DAT status (both p<0.0005), whereas there was no centre effect, independent of the AC method.
The analysis of population structure by means of Wright’s [ 23 ] F ST statistic (0.42) was highly significant ( P = 5x10 -4 ).
The main effect of Cuing was highly significant (F2,77 = 365.96, p<.0005, E = .91) and a significant Cuing by Group interaction indicated that the cuing effects were different for ROP and HC (F2,77 = 5.036, p<.009, E = .116).
Additionally markers on chromosomes 5, 10, 14, 15, 17, 21 and 24 had P values approaching significance (p≤5E-4).
The differences between the three subgroups were indeed more pronounced when considering only children over the age of one year: subgroup α contained 89% of the UM and 79% of the SNCM patients but only 11% of the CM patients, whereas 78% of CM patients were found in subgroup β ( figure 4b ), and the association with clinical status was highly significant for both (p = 0.0005 and 0.0004, respectively).
The difference in level of relatedness between breeding pairs and random pairs was estimated at 0.07 and was highly significant (10,000 simulations, one-sided p -value = 0.0005).

To test a critical assumption of the model—redundancy is greatest for languages with few L2 learners—we compared a translation of a document into 103 languages and observed a highly significant correlation ( r = −.56, P <.0005) between population and redundancy (see Text S11 ).
