The gender difference is highly significant (t(62) = 3.83, p < 0.0002, two-tailed, with an effect size Cohen’s d = 1.025).
Excerpts
Apparent survival The U-CARE goodness of fit global test was highly significant (χ 2 = 36.93, d.f. = 12, p = 0.0002).
Though this gene has been used in the literature [ 39 ], performance of this gene in our mouse panel was mediocre, and as shown in Fig 6A , the raw (non-normalized) data for B2M in our mouse muscle dataset does appear to suggest a highly significant (P = 0.0002) increase in B2M expression in dystrophic tissue.
The amount of FD4 diffusing through the monolayer (measured by the permeability coefficient, P app ) treated with TGFβ3 was about 10fold higher (highly significant, p = 0.0002) compared to an untreated monolayer ( Fig. 2 ).
Noteworthy, RA-related phosphoprotein profile changes are unique to the CD19 + CD27 − IgD + IgM low/− subset of autoreactive B ND cells: nominal logistic fit demonstrated that RA predictive value of the combined phosphorylation profile of several major BCR signaling proteins and Ca 2+ levels in response to BCR stimulation [2] in B ND cells was highly significant (R 2 = 1.0, p = 0.0002), while in mature naïve CD19 + IgM + B cells this predictive value was substantially less evident (R 2 = 0.505, p = 0.053).
More importantly, there was a highly significant ( p -value = 0.0002, R 2 = 0.9944) dependence of HSP60 expression on the concentration of sodium ( Fig 1C ).
This reduction was highly significant relative to that in CpG-A-treated cells from 10 healthy donors in 14 experiments ( p = 0.0002) and relative to control supernatants from Huh7.5 cells transfected with subgenomic replicon and rendered apoptotic by UV irradiation (p = 0.01).
[22] demonstrated that there was a significant trend for increased folate intake to be associated with a lower risk of lung cancer in men (P = 0.0002), and the multivariate RR for the participants with tertile 3 folate intake was 0.70 (95% CI, 0.55–0.89) when compared to those with tertile 1 folate intake.
The different trends were highly significant ( F 2,41.6 = 10.64, P = 0.0002).
However, there was a highly significant decline in the amplitude of the AHP in all cells by 13.5 + 3.2% ( n = 12, P = 0.0002) ( Fig. 7 A and D ).
he difference between the experimental and control conditions was highly significant (paired t (4) = 13.50, p = 0.0002, Cohen’s d = 9.55).
fulviflamma was confirmed by a highly significant chi-square test (χ 2 = 14, df = 1, P<0.0002).
We find that there is a highly significant correlation between carrier status weighted by either acetylcholine EC 50 (β = −0.67, r 2 = 0.017, P = 2×10 −4 ) or by response to low nicotine (β = −0.29, r 2 = 0.02, P = 6×10 −5 ) when variants are expressed with the α3 subunit.
The difference in numbers of the competitors between the two time periods at the 1900 m site was highly significant ( Χ 3 2 = 20.1, P = 0.0002).
This translated into a highly significant increased rate of survival within mAb treated mice compared to control mice (31283 p = 0.0002; 31259 p = 0.0004; 29044 p = 0.0003), as displayed in Fig 7C .
In contrast, the difference between APU and APP on edibility ratings was highly significant (F[1,58] = 16.025, p<0.0002; power = 0.987) ( Figure 1d ).
Applying the GEPHAST analysis separately to each of the three groups defined by STRUCTURE (assuming each group to be homogeneous) reveals a striking pattern in which both INRA111 and BMS2753 yield highly significant associations in just one of the three groups (P = 0.0002 and P = 0.0005 respectively, corrected for 30 tests).
As demonstrated in Fig 4B , 12 out of 18 (66.7%) patient samples showed a highly significant increase in plasma CgA levels (P = 0.0002) during tumor progression which was in total nearly nine times higher (mean increase of 291.3 U/l) compared to samples derived from patients with NEN of the colon and rectum.
The size of this effect was reflected in a highly significant group-level difference between Probe and Irrelevant (P3a-Fz: t (11) = 5.57, p <.0002; d = 1.61.
Methodological Quality Methodological quality as assessed by the Jadad score increased significantly over time (P<0.0001); we also reanalyzed the data minus the first period (1948–1953) (where the average Jadad score was much lower) and the increase over time was still highly significant (p = 0.0002) ( Figure 4 ).
Homogeneity of variance (or dispersion) was tested using PERMDISP and was highly significant from homogeneity of variance ( P = 0.0002).
Surprisingly, there was a U-shaped relationship with increased AF disease status, such that PITX2c expression was higher in subjects with no history of AF, lower in AF/SR subjects, and higher again in AF/AF subjects, with this difference highly significant (p = 2×10 −4 by non-parametric Kruskal-Wallis ANOVA) ( Figure 3A ).
Age effect was extremely significant (F (1, 68) = 15.51, p = 0.0002).
All correlations are highly significant (p<0.0002), indicating the null hypothesis that the correlation is equal to zero can be rejected.
