In the primary analysis, the ex vivo TNF-α values showed different temporal dynamics than the in vivo values as indicated by a highly significant group by time interaction analysis comparing the ex vivo and the in vivo values after the TNF-α peak, i.e. from 3 to 24 h (p = 0.002).

Additionally, both cytokines showed a trend towards an association with disease severity (rho = 0.310, P = 0.002; rho = 0.188, P = 0.059, for IL-6 and IL-8, respectively).
Zeta-potential decrease was observed for these proteoliposomes as well, and in comparison with control liposomes proved to be highly significant ( Figure 3E ; n = 5, p = 0.002).
Our array contained 27 SNPs in the vicinity, and only one, namely rs4131943, had a nominally significant association with influenza A severity (p = 2.1×10 −3 , OR = 2.60 95% CI 1.40–4.83); note that the hypothesis-specific number of tests was 27, and that the multiple testing correction would yield p = 0.0567.
In contrast to fruits dried at 100°C, storage time on cuA and cuB from fruits dried at 52°C was highly significant (p ≤ 0.0021), under tropical conditions contributing 89 and 95% in total treatment variation (TTV) of the respective variables.
Protection in the 8 h group was highly significant vs CG (p = 0.0022 Fig. 4C ), and the 47% protection after 24 h approached but did not reach significance (p = 0.0566) ( Table 3 ).
This effect was accompanied by a highly significant increase in mobility of α7-nAChRs residing on dendrites (from 0.018±0.024 to 0.025±0.027 μm 2 /s; t = 5.015 df = 1352, p = 0.0023) whereas axonal QDs exhibited a moderate reduction in mobility (from 0.218±0.104 to 0.187±0.04 μm 2 /s; t = 2.811 df = 289, p = 0.0103) ( Fig. 6A ).
