The difference was highly significant ( p < 2.2 × 10 −16 ), indicating robust epigenetic dysregulation of the SYTL4 locus in breast cancer ( Figure 2 A).

A total of 190,678 gene pairs had at least one TSG, and the difference in p -values between pairs with TSGs and with no TSGs was highly significant ( Figure 3 , Wilcox rank-sum test p -value < 2.2 × 10 –16 ).
