In contrast to the decrease in days under no thermal stress, the days under strong heat stress showed an increasing trend in most tourism cities in summer ( Figure 8 b), which would inevitably cause more potential heat threats to the public health and make the further investigation on thermal perception essential and urgent [ 28 ]. 4.3.
Excerpts
Previous studies on the Lithuanian adult population demonstrated the increase in the smoking prevalence up to 2000, especially among women, while a decreasing trend in men and stabilisation in women has been observed afterwards [ 19 , 36 ].
A previous study carried out by our group [ 15 ] also evidenced a decreasing trend in the development of risky consumption patterns.
As shown in Figure S1 , the absorbance spectra for both bulk and fractionated PPFA show a decreasing trend as an approximate quasi-exponential change, along with the wavelength in the range of 230–800 nm with a prominent peak at 303 nm.
From the logistic regression, the epidemiological, clinical and ultrasound criteria significant at the 5% level are: a previous positive NP swab, precautionary isolation status, coming from a nursing home, fever associated with respiratory symptoms; diffuse AIS is weakly significant.
From the perspective of the institutional setting, social institutions and policies may be significant variables that affect immigrants’ future settlement intentions.
The Results of Global Autocorrelation Analysis For Category−I, with the Global Moran’s I analysis, the p -value is less than 0.00001 and the Z-score is 363.526282, which is highly significant, indicating that the elderly care facilities of Category−I are clustered ( Figure 7 ).
The possible association between improvement in ACT score (≥3 points) and fewer days of poor physical health approached but did not reach significance, ORadj = 1.38 (95% CI 0.96, 1.98).
(1) During the study period, the level of the N-TU in the YREB showed an increasing trend on the whole and had the characteristic of uneven inter-provincial spatial distribution.
When β < 0, there is a decreasing trend.
When β > 0, there is an increasing trend.
General Model When considering the SEM structural model for the whole sample of employees ( Figure 2 ), both resources (with a negative sign) and demands (with a positive sign) had a highly significant effect on negative acts at the workplace.
As illustrated in Figure 2 b, the elongation at break and tensile strength of the mulch film showed a trend of increasing and then decreasing with the addition of glycerol.
The Ace and Chao indices in fungal community richness showed an increasing trend.
The studies showed an increasing trend in OAB symptoms with age; however, it should be considered that a significant number of the women suffering from this pathology were in the reproductive time of their life [ 3 , 4 ].
Weekdays shifted to an increasing trend, while weekends showed a decreasing trend. 4.
The total soil organic carbon density on the northern slope of Mount Taibai showed a decreasing trend with the increase of the altitude gradient [ 24 ].
With the increase in altitude, soil C:N and C:P showed a decreasing trend in the broad-leaved forest belt and changed to an increasing trend in the coniferous forest belt; N:P first rises and then falls with the increase in altitude gradient [ 25 ].
Although Liyang has gained the honorable title of “National Ecological City”, it still faces many challenges in the ecological environment; the problem of organic matter and soil pollution is gradually increasing; the situation of environmental water protection is serious ( Figure 2 b) and direct drainage of agricultural wastewater is still prominent; and the ecological environment indicates a significant trend of environmental degradation, and fragmentation of ecological space tends to be serious. 2.2.
Second, the participation of farmers in the improvement of the rural settlement environment shows a decreasing trend in the eastern, western, and central regions, in that order.
Specifically, there is a wide variation in the characteristics of the countries in Club 1, which mainly include countries with large total emissions, such as the United States; countries with high GDP per capita, such as Estonia and Iceland; and energy producing countries, such as Saudi Arabia, which are in Club 1 because their PCCEs are much larger than the steady-state average and do not exhibit a decreasing trend.
This study showed a highly significant association between an RTR and isokinetic parameters, which is consistent with previous studies [ 15 , 16 ].
Pregnant women were explicitly informed of their non-obligation and the optionality of getting vaccinated. ‘It’s explained to them that it’s optional, not obligatory, but that if they do get influenza, the consequences may be significant’.
This research revealed that students in the study sample from Budapest had higher results in the paced push-ups in all the age groups compared to the national data, and this difference was quite significant.
In addition, the existing literature using both modeling and experiments has revealed that the effect of soil pH on NPP is quite significant [ 58 ], implying that soil properties are also major influencing factors on NPP.
