Hence, SP-7, with a pH of 7.2 ± 0.1, had a trend for higher values than CON-0 ( p = 0.07), CIDR-7 ( p < 0.05) and CIDR-14 ( p = 0.05), while the differences were highly significant when assessing the SP-14 group, with a pH of 8.0 ± 0.2, against SP-7 ( p < 0.001) and CON-0, CIDR-7 and CIDR-14 ( p < 0.00001 for all).
Excerpts
Differences were significant if p < 0.05, highly significant when p < 0.001 or p < 0.0001 and a trend was considered if 0.05 ≤ p < 0.10.
Salinity showed highly significant effects on SGR D in both winter and spring (one-way ANOVA, p < 0.001, p = 0.006, respectively).
The addition of sodium chloride led to a highly significant increase in renal sodium and chloride excretion ( p < 0.001).
The omnibus ANOVA for the overall model was highly significant (Model SS = 12.5877, df = 26, F = 2.338, p < 0.001), and season was the strongest single predictor (SS = 4.5392, F = 10.962, p < 0.001), indicating clear seasonal structuring of overall parasite risk across districts and hosts.
For fat yield, PTAF also remained highly significant (β = 1.444, p < 0.001), but herd-level variance was smaller (SD = 43.9 kg), suggesting that fat yield was less affected by inter-farm management heterogeneity compared with milk yield.
Cortisol, Lactate and Glucose Concentrations For change in cortisol concentrations, the time effect was highly significant ( F 2, 45 = 39.2, p < 0.001), but there was no evidence of a treatment effect ( F 4, 41 = 0.24, p = 0.91).
There was also a highly significant effect of the breed on important production and reproduction traits ( p < 0.001).
Crude Fat Digestibility of A (Trial 1) and APEF (Trial 2) Both a quadratic and linear relationship were highly significant ( p < 0.001) for both A and APEF ( Figure 2 ).
In all cases, differences between treatment groups were considered if p < 0.05 marked “ * ”, significant if p < 0.01 marked “ ** ” and extremely significant if p < 0.001 marked “ *** ”.
Sperm Motility in Sexed Porcine Semen The quantitative assessment of Computer-Assisted Sperm Analysis (CASA) parameters demonstrates a highly significant discriminatory impact ( p < 0.001) of the sexing process on the kinematic integrity of porcine spermatozoa, revealing a clear disparity between X- and Y-enriched populations ( Table 4 ).
Nutritional quality indices calculated in SAT revealed highly significant seasonal effects ( p < 0.001).
Highly significant increases ( p < 0.001) in oestrus duration in queens in Treatments B, C and E, i.e., 27.1, 24.2 and 19.2 days, respectively, out of a maximum of 30 days, were all increased compared to the pre-treatment mean of 2.9 days and above the generally accepted mean of 7 days (range of 2 to 9 days) [ 18 , 19 ].
Results of two-way ANOVA revealed highly significant variation in FI between hours ( p < 0.001) and a statistical trend towards variation in FI of different guinea pigs ( p = 0.07; data not shown).
The results demonstrated a highly significant baseline difference in waterbird composition between the impact and control lakes (Treatment effect: F 1,14 = 8.071, p = 0.001), reflecting inherent habitat variations.
The OD-CW and OD-WW regressions were highly significant ( p < 0.001) with R 2 values of 0.84 and 0.83, respectively ( Figure 3 and Table 3 ).
Statistically, highly significant differences (PERMANOVA: Pseudo-F = 13.118, p < 0.001) were detected in the bacterial composition among groups (water and skin mucus samples).
En bloc samples showed a statistically highly significant negative relationship ( p < 0.001) between age and number of tubular cross sections, meaning that as expected, the outer/inner tubular diameter and thickness of the tubular wall of seminiferous tubules enlarged with increasing age (each p < 0.001), resulting in fewer tubular cross sections per visual field.
The overall effect between the groups in the chemical composition (crude protein, intramuscular fat) in the breast and leg muscles was shown to be highly significant ( p < 0.001).
Based on a simple linear mixed model, a highly significant ( p < 0.001) relationship between GFR (=Cl IOH ) and BW was demonstrated, expressed by the equation: (1) GFR (mL/min) = 4.11 + 1.59 × BW (kg) (R 2 = 0.90) The GFR and BW were highly correlated, therefore it was decided to further analyze the impact of sex and species on the GFR/BW using mixed effects models.
The submucosa ( Figure 4 C) was thickest in the Tufted Duck, with highly significant differences compared to both the Mallard and the Green-Winged Teal ( p < 0.001).
Specifically, four nutrients (DM, CP, NDF, ADF) demonstrated a highly significant positive correlation with β-GC and EG (r > 0.82, p < 0.001) and a significant correlation with CBH (r > 0.50, p < 0.05).
Differences were considered significant when p < 0.05 and highly significant when p < 0.001.
Subsequent MANOVA performed on this dataset revealed that our discriminant analysis was highly significant (Wilks Lambda = 0.017; F (2,32) = 66.3; p < 0.001).
