For MOF, high CVD risk was associated with 22% higher risk in the primary model [1·22 (1·07–1·40)] and 13% higher risk in the competing risks model [1·13 (0·94–1·35)], though the latter did not reach statistical significance.

The sentences
The association was attenuated and in the fully adjusted model compared with the low CVD risk group, the intermediate CVD risk group had a 14% higher [1·14 (1·04–1·24)] and the high-risk group had a 22% higher [1·22 (1·07–1·40)] risk of MOF ( Table 3 – Model 4), with a significant trend showing higher PREVENT score was associated with higher fracture risk ( p- trend = 0·019).
