For CLL, the association was with grandparents (1.48) for which relationship the case numbers were largest; for AML the association (1.63) with grandparents was of borderline significance (lower 95% CI was 0.98).

NPA treatment improved several myocardial function parameters, including the myocardial performance index (MPI) and the E/A ratio, although these improvements were of borderline significance ( Fig. 3 i,j).

Discussion In our study, we find a 20% increased risk of colorectal cancer (though of borderline significance) in relation to type 2 diabetes, the excess risk being higher for a longer diabetes history and for proximal colon cancer.
