In the subgroup analysis of patient samples only (excluding subjects for health examination), the OR of detection of anti-nucleosome/histone/dsDNA using AC-1 in the original data was 1.36 (95% confidence interval, CI 0.33–5.61, p -value = 0.67); furthermore, the OR of detection of anti-nucleosome/histone/dsDNA using AC-1 in the re-evaluated data increased to 5.43 (95% CI 1.00–29.61, p -value = 0.05), which was near statistical significance.
For PCA, the six microelements that were statistically significant or near statistical significance were used.
Taking an overall view of the results, comparing events or complications between the two types of retention ( Table 1 ), the ODA group suffered more problems related to retention loss, retention insert changes, resin fracture, and relining while the ODB group suffered more prosthetic dental wear, screw loosening, and complete prosthetic failure, although differences were nowhere near statistical significance ( Figure 2 ).
