In unadjusted models, women who gave birth ≥2 times had 44% lower odds of overweight/obesity than women who only gave birth once (OR = 0.56; 95% CI: 0.37, 0.84; P = 0.005), and women who had never given birth had 40% lower odds of overweight/obesity than women with 1 live birth, but this was marginally nonsignificant (OR = 0.60; 95% CI: 0.34, 1.07; P = 0.09).
